Terrible Experience
We've had a terrible experience with City Wide Group. We signed a contract with them on June 17th to have a leak in our basement fixed from the outside. The contract stated that the work would start within 3-5 weeks and would be completed 6-12 days after the start of work. It's now August 27th and the job is finally complete. This company is terrible with communication. Approximately 7 weeks after we signed the contract we received a call from their salesperson Alex to tell us that their people would be there within "minutes, hours or days " to start the job, great communication! After they pulled up our interlock and did the waterproofing they said they would be back in a week to put back the interlock. Three weeks went by before we received a call from the company and it wasn't to say they were on their way to complete the job, it was the owners wife Lynn asking for payment, she wasn't even aware that the job wasn't completed, great communication! When I told her that I wouldn't pay until they finished the job, she was a little rude and not understanding at all. At no time did Lynn ever apologize for their lack of professionalism. The workers had to not only put back our interlock, they also had to repair my neighbors interlock that had started to collapse because of their work. They also broke one of our electrical outlets outside that we made them replace. We have found this to be the worst experience that we have ever had from a contractor, with their lack of communication or caring. I would never recommend this salesperson or company to anyone.

As a follow up to my review...Alex came to our house on September 1st to collect payment for the job. As his way of saying sorry he said he wanted to send my family out for dinner and he said he would send us restaurant vouchers within a couple of days. It's now September 28th and we still have not received anything or even heard from Alex again!
