The Best Decision my Mom Made
When I was younger, I was not just your stereotypical awkward teen. I was the most unsociable, introverted, shy and awkward teenager for miles (probably). Now I am going to get straight to the point and tell you how Chan International changed my entire way of life. I started classes (courtesy of a surprise present from my mom) and the first class was interesting. We started with icebreakers to get to know each class mate and the teacher and then we got right down to business. Withing the first class I learned of the importance of presentation and confidence and it really changed how I saw myself. Looking at my posture before, I looked sloppy. No wonder I didn't enjoy going out in public! Over the next couple classes we learned how to hold ourselves while we walk, modeling routines, how to audition for commercials, how to do a commercial and so many other things that you wouldn't get a chance to learn anywhere else. I found that in my everyday life, in school, and even online I was much more outgoing and I was not scared to socialize with people. In school, my teachers noticed a significant improvement in my involvement with class discussions and doing presentations (which we all know were a nightmare). Today I still put all that I have learned into effect whether I'm at school or on the bus, or simply walking down the side walk. I have confidence, and poise, and I am unashamed of who I am. I have even gotten a couple acting jobs from Chan! So whether you are wanting to learn how to act or model, or wanting to improve yourself, I highly recommend Chan International. ( Also, the staff is SUUUPER friendly! It's like walking into a ray of sunshine lol).
