My senior mother tried this place based on my recommendation (that was actually for another business, not Eyemax!). she ended up with about $1000 bill and faulty glasses that took repeated calls to resolve (sort of... she is still not truly satisfied and never intends to step foot in their door again). The a year later they call and leave a single message stating that she has an appointment the following day and if she doesn't show or cancels then they will charge her: apparently they have some in-house scam wherein senior patients get a "free, but not called free" eye exam, but then must return for annual exams or charged $50 for the first... this despite the fact she did purchase glasses after the initial exam (any other place I have been too waves the exam if glasses are purchased). My mom did return their call and asked to be removed from the call list, but was unable to clearly understand the loud and fast talking lady whom spoke to her... at my moms request I called in as well to confirm the "cancellation" and explain that my mom was not interested in any further contact due past issues (of which I was fully aware of, even back then)... the lady got really loud, started yammering on justifying charges, so I said we would report to the BBB and dispute any attempt to charge and CC... she just got louder and yammered on faster claiming I didn't know what I was talking about then hung up on me... yep, a real class act she is, a real keeper for the business.
