I am very happy with the customer service at the Ajax outlet.After screwing down the first piece of decking on the starter strip I noticed the decking was not sitting flat on the starter strip.A little fix up and I was pleasantly surprised about how the rest of the deck interlocked and went together.I installed the light grey decking and the wife loves the look of it.Glad we chose this product.

Aluminum decking delivery was on time. Easy to install. Staffs are very friendly and best of all. It looks good and hope it is the last deck for me. It is hot in the sun but cools down quickly.

I thought you’d like to know that I picked up my shipment at the Manitoulin depot yesterday.

I think your shipping people did a thorough job of preparing the material for transport, with not only shrink-wrap on each set of two aluminum decking boards but corrugated cardboard and metal straps as well. The skid was solid enough that the forklift was able to load the shipment into our vehicle in one go.

Manitoulin did a great job of getting it here in only four days and without any damage. They have a convenient tracking system, too.

The only deficiencies consist of 6 extra regular screws and 9 fewer drill-type screws than the order specified. Try not to laugh.

Once we had our initial issues settled, such as the change in representatives and delayed announcement of the price increase, I found the service commendable, especially when your checkers alerted me to the need for an additional piece of material. This no doubt spared frustration down the line.

You provided me with excellent service and advice, Lisa. I would recommend you to others. Thanks for all of your efforts in making me a satisfied customer.

Regarding 'canadianuser, April 16 2016, we have the same problem with our deck that was installed last summer (2018), but we have a membrane under the decking. We have leaking down all four inside walls of our garage that previously had been dry for the age of our house - 68 years. We are disappointed and hope that the defect(s) will be resolved.

We installed it in a day and a half and are simply waiting to flash it and install the topless glass railing. Here are a few pics of the project at mid day Friday. I have had this decking installed for 3 years now. It is great decking, but the reason I spent a premium price for decking was to gain dry unheated storage underneath it. Last summer I finished under the deck and was thrilled with the dry space. However, when winter arrived my dry space wasn't dry any longer. I believe what happens is that ice forms in the water channels under the seams where the deck boards are joined. Eventually, water overflows the channels.

An email inquiry to the manufacturer resulted in a totally impractical recommendation to had electrical heating cable to keep the channels from freezing. I would need about 750 ft of heating cable, would have to string it between decking and joists, would have to find a way to keep it in contact with the channels, and then would have to pay the operating cost every winter! How practical is that?

So, if you are looking to have dry space under your decking, keep looking, this is not it.

The shipment arrived and everything in good order. I am impressed that it was wrapped so securely on the skid.


And GoJit driver was very helpful - the 20 foot skid was placed at the front of his trailer. He managed with blocks of wood and using skid lifter sideways to inch it bit by bit down to the tailgate. That took a lot of muscle and patience.


The driver was great - it made the unloading much easier rather than climbing up and walking down the trailer for each piece, walking back and climbing down again..

I find it to be a very good product. clean and nice colour. Like the idea of aluminum as decking material. The railing as well aluminum made a nice choice with the deck.and the self closure on the gate with a lock was that was very good idea on there part. The roof was the final stage that put the whole thing together. With the pull down shades we can now sit and enjoy this product for a very long time.

Had no problem with the staff, new what was going on and being precise with all the miter joints. made job look very good. Was happy to have a crew like this from the beginning to the end. They were as excited to see the finished product as I was. Great job guys.

Just a quick note to advise that your shipment to me arrived this past Tuesday. The driver was friendly and courteous.
The material came well wrapped on a skid and appears to not have been damaged. The truck operator had a motorized lift cart and place the decking in my garage. I will not have a chance to place the decking for at least 3 to 4 weeks.
