This is the best Vet Clinic I have ever been too. They always treated me and my cat very well. I have no complaints about this place, Dr. Liz is an amazing person who really loves animals and cares about them. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. They have great staff too!

I would not take my cat (Star) anywhere else. The staff & vets show true caring & compassion. Thank you so much for taking such good care of Star & for always keeping well informed.

They have been our vet for years. Just recently they helped us through a very difficult situation with one of our cats. They were helpful, compassionate and very caring. I would not take my babies any where else.

If you have a cat these are the folks to see.

I highly recommend the Willow Park Feline Clinic (and in fact have recommended it to friends). The facilities are bright, clean and welcoming, and staff are pleasant. I also like that it is a cat-only practice.

I followed Dr. Ruelle there from her last clinic because she was so great with my senior diabetic kitty (who often gets feisty at clinics in general). Dr. Ruelle's calm presence and gentle handling keep my kitty's visits as easy as possible. Moreover, Dr. Ruelle's practice of keeping up with the lastest research in animal medicine has offered new strategies for maintaining my kitty's diabetes. I can't imagine taking my kitty anywhere else!

I have been a client of this clinic for 11 years and have had nothing but exceptional care and attention. I have a very high needs cat who requires regular and extensive medical care-Dr. Phipps and now Dr. Ruelle have treated my cat and myself and family with patience, respect and friendship and we are incredibly grateful. I would (and have!) recommend this clinic to anyone in the Calgary region with a cat they love.

My cat, Packer has been struggling with behavior issues for years, ie. urinating in the house plants. I have addressed this issue with several vet clinics and had no luck.
Thankfully, your clinic was recommended to me. Dr. Ruelle gave me behavior counseling to try with Packer. It worked wonders!
What a treat to have a clinic that specializes in cats only.
They truly understand that feline mentality!
Thank you Dr. Ruelle it is so nice to enjoy Packer again.

I would highly disagree with the first rating. The staff is fantastic at this clinic. They truly care about the welfare of the pets and the pet owners. Janet knows all of the clients and is so incredibly helpful, and the vet techs Peggy and Jamie are wonderful. Both Dr Ruelle and Dr Phipps take the time to make your pet feel comfortable and make sure that they are doing what is in the best interest of your cat. My cat has a number of problems with allergies, and just recently had his teeth cleaned. He had to have a few teeth pulled due to cavity's, and Dr Ruelle actually gave me her cell number to call if I had any issues. She also spent almost an hour, after hours to talk to me about my cat's care. The prices are very reasonable, and they do wonderful things for cats in need. My last vet would charge me $30-40 to get my cat's nails clipped, and they charge $7 and it all goes to charity. Anyone would be lucky to have either Dr Ruelle or Dr Phipps as their vet, I know I am.

Dr. Ruelle and her team have a done a fantastic job treating our ill cat. Our cat has asthma, although this was not evident to our prior vet. We videotaped our cat's asthma attacks on our cell phone and sent it to Dr. Ruelle, who quickly identified the potential ailments, tested for them, diagnosed asthma and put our cat on a course of treatment. The treatment was immediately effective, but Dr. Ruelle is diligent in following up. A great, committed vet clinic!

This clinic is horrible. They are not good with the animals and extremely rude with owners. They proceeded to grab my cat by the throat and jabbed two needles into her. They would not let me hold her or wrap her in a towel. They seemed to be surprised when the poor cat freaked out by this treatment in in turn got bitten for their cruel handling. They took FOUR days to give us blood test results which were in the following day but they refused to give us any results because of the cat bite. This cat was not eating or drinking and they didnt care. Of course we switched vets and all of a sudden the heath inspector is calling because the vet reported the cat because we switched vets after their cruel treatment. So if you want your cat treated properly Go elsewhere because these people dont care if you cat lives or dies and they sure as heck dont care about the people. This clinic should be shut down and will be reported to the Alberta Vet Board. I wouldnt even rate this clinic half a star...but you have to put something to post....

When cats are removed from their regular environment, especially when sick or scared, they can behave in an unpredictable manner and will not differentiate between friend and foe. It is our responsibility to ensure that no owner gets hurt. If we are not familiar with your cat's temperment, we err on the side of caution and will not let you physically restrain your cat. Although we strive to ensure the safety of our patients, clients, and staff, at times events are beyond our control, as it was in this case.

During a routine examination, our doctor was bitten and needed to seek medical attention. Human physicians, by law, are required to report any animal bite to public health officials. The decision to investigate any bite injury originates from publich heath and not the individual who was injured. This law is in place for public safety, especially considering that a Rabies positive cat was reported this summer just north of Calgary.

With respect to the accusations of unethical or uncaring treatment, the client was contacted three times in the week following the initial visit: by phone within two and half days of the initial visit, in person on day four when a therapy plan was started, and by follow-up email sent the day after the second visit. The Alberta Veterinary Medical Association has never pursued this complaint with us.

Sincerely, Willow Park Feline Clinic

This clinic has all the potential to be great... friendly doctor and receptionist. However I took my very sick little kitten there twice the first appointment was excellent! He was very valm and relaxed. Second time, however was less than desired! The one staff member refused to even touch him because of his cold and didn't want to show us toe nail clipping. I understand that he is sick, but so are lots of the cats at the vet. It's your job to be prepared for this. They treated my little guy so bad the second time I decided to switch vets. I'm much happier now and my little guy is much more calm at the vet. They do have the potential but need to be more caring and practice better handling.

This place is AWESOME, I take my 2 boys there and the staff are wonderful people. Especially Dr. Phipps who has cats of her own, she is so good with them. I have been going to them for 2 yrs now. Because most animal clinics have other pets as well. I prefer it to be an all cat clinic because dogs can cause a lot of stress in your kitty and I want my boys to be less stressed as going to the doctors is always stressful for them as it is for me. Great location (Macleod Plaza) 94th Ave off Macleod Tr SE. The staff is all female and they have 2 doctors on staff.
