China Buffet

I visited china buffet this evening with my husband and we were extremely disses pointed to say the least. It is now a sushi bar/Chinese buffet and had I liked sushi I probably would not have complained. When we walked up to the buffet are we noticed that the food, what was left of it was very dry, also the smell and taste of burnt food did not do wonders for my stomach. We had to literally ask the waitress if they were bringing anymore food out as there was barely anything there when we began.
All I have to say is I am very disappointed and I will never go back even if the meal was free, it was that bad not even fit for an animal

The food is usually pretty good and the selection is reasonable. Sometimes the food could be fresher, but it offers
excellent value for the money. People should not be complaining so much about the food ,when so many people are
lacking in food in many different countries of the world. We
should all be thankful for everything we have in this country.
We never know when it can be taken away from us like for the
people in Japan. We are waiting for the restaurant to be opened soon.

WOK A TALK!!!! This food selection was amazing, to top it off the price is unbeatable. WAY better then king's buffet.

China Buffet in the Creek has lost three more regular customers tonight, March 29, 2010. The truth is that the food has never been the greatest, but it was reasonably priced. Seriously though, tonight was the last nail in the coffin. A few weeks ago on a Sunday night we went there and the food was so atrocious that I did not think I would go back at that point. But tonight being a Monday night, I thought it would be better because of the usual higher turnover. Unfortunately, we walk in the door and found out that the prices were raised to nearly $10. Already there we decided to stay which was a BIG mistake. The food was once again so bad that it was embarrassing. I don’t know if they changed management or what but I cannot recommend China Buffet to anyone, anywhere, anytime.

I've been to different Chinese buffet restaurants which range from very good to average but China buffet on Stoney Creek has got to be the worst one. The selection was minimal, there were lots of deep fried foods and the taste of most of the food was gross. My boyfriend and I went there yesterday and we were so disappointed. I mean it was cheap but we were not prepared for the bad taste. The soup tasted really sour and too slimy, the imitation crab salad tasted weird. My poor boyfriend was almost retching and he had a stomach ache when we got home. I tried eating fries instead but there were awfully salty. We will never go back. We almost tried to dissuade people getting into the place from going in - no, please stay away!

Probably the best buffet for the price, great food (easily on par with buffets 2-3 times more expensive), though the selection is somewhat lacking; 20-26 hot selections as opposed to maybe 40 or 50. they also have a salad bar, and desserts including fruit.

‎There are not too much food selection area but the food is very fresh and always add from hot pots! It's good price to eat in, let's say even if you just go in to have fish and chips..for that price you can eat as much as you want, also come with salad and sweets if you'd like... that definitely worth it!!

From the moment we walked in at 8:45 we knew something was wrong, but we stayed out of hunger; our first mistake.

The selection was minimal and, for that price, barely adequate but we made the best of it.

However, it was the deafening sound of the shop-vac vacuum being run in the dining area barely 20 minutes into our meal(55 minutes prior to closing), which really bothered us.

No one cared that there were several diners still eating or trying to conduct conversations around the noise.

To add insult, ten minutes after the vacuuming started the hostess came to our table demanding payment and literally stood right there until it was received. I had not even started dessert and we still had 45 minutes to eat whatever was left!

Needless to say, we will not be going back to China Buffet ever again and will tell everyone we know about the extremely poor service and sh*tty staff attitude.

This is one restaurant that deserves to close down permanently as it offers absolutely no value or quality in the least.
