very pleasant staff and helpful so glad they are in the neighbourhood!
Several years ago we had a Homelite gas powered leaf blower. It needed repairs after only about a year (at a cost of 40% of the original cost) then it was in for repair as much as not. A year later we gave up an bought a Stihl elsewhere - still going strong.
Now we have a Homelite Jacobsen snowblower that Home Hardware will not service. No small motor repair or snowblower repair that we have contacted will service it. They say it is too much trouble. We called Home Hardware head office. They said they don't service any more and it's not their problem. They don't care.
We are stuck with a lemon snowblower that was over $1500!
Lesson here: NEVER BUY ANY HOME HARDWARE / HOMELITE PRODUCT> they are crap and the store does not support them with parts or service after only a year or two. YOu'd be better off renting eslewhere than buying any product with a Home Hardware brand name on it. Never again for us.
