Labour Ready

i just heard about this program, and i am going to go down to their office tomorrow to see if i can get an interview.

the lower middle class is the largest and most diverse portion of society, and those who are included in it need a variety of opportunities. i think that having businesses like these are a great idea because they offer to help these people find placements in alternative working environments under alternative conditions.
i, for example, don't like staying in one place for too long. i'm only going to be in town for another month before i move. i find it disrespectful to apply for certain jobs, knowing that i will only be there for a few weeks.. but i still need some fast money to prepare for my next move. Labour ready seems like one of the only ways that i can satisfy this need: to make money during a very short-term span and not leave my employer shorthanded. Now, i can make some money and feel proud of myself for doing just one honest day's work at a time and not having to be penalized for my temporary availability.
