I have been coming to Kinkos for over 10 years on a regular basis to have printing done for me. The service has always been excellent and obliging.
Tonight, March 07, 2011 I have never experienced such rudeness from one of your employees by the name of Mary Ann.
I asked Peter, who was serving me if he could adjust the color of the blue on my logo because it was not the correct color. Whenever I come to the store (which is often) the team member serving me encounters this issue with color blue on my document logo. Peter did not know to make this minor color adjustment; something that every other team member who serves me usually does. So he asked MaryAnn if she might help out.
Instead of trying to help, she was totally rude and said that this was a special order and I needed to leave it etc. When I tried to explain to her that generally what happens the team member just makes a slight adjustment and the color works out. She proceeded to tell me that if this is what her colleagues are doing she needs to report it to the manager etc. She raised her voice so that everyone in the store was looking at us.
Her rude and inappropriate behavior is inexcusable. Moreover, why does she feel that she has the authority to behave in this way when Peter who is a team member as she is stood there quietly without saying a word.
It is not her purview to behave in such an officious and rude manner. Has she forgotten that customer service is one of your important tenets.
