MIDWAY MAZDA !! SCAMMERS!! DO NOT GO...
I purchased a 2006 mazda 3 gt last year, they tried scamming me out of the price they had on sale, more than a $1000 until i said something. The sales guy tried telling me i didnt need a warranty and i emphasized i want a warranty. they refused to put some kind of warranty on it and i ended up purchasing the best warranty for two years. I drive it off the lot and notice that it wasnt driving properly and it needed a wheel alignment, not to mention my battery died 4-5 times within the month. I decided to take it to a mechanic that i know, to have an inspection done. aside from all of the problems my back rotors are shot and the so called 108 point inspection they did was completely inaccurate. i will get to that later. I took the vehicle in at least 4 to 5 times within 6 weeeks. The gas mileage was terrible 300 km's per tank. They tried charging me for the CPU update , they replaced the battery and charged me for the labour for the new rotors. The sales manager said we have to...

I took the vehicle in at least 4 to 5 times within 6 weeeks. The gas mileage was terrible 300 km's per tank. They tried charging me for the CPU update , they replaced the battery and charged me for the labour for the new rotors. The sales manager said we have to run a business, and in my opinion he is nothing but a yuppy accountant that is completely disconnected with the customer happiness part and a fraud. I decide that i would have the wheel alignment done, somewhere else and my oil changes which i always use Mr.Lube. Everytime i walked in myself or with my fiancee, not one person in the whole dealership even said a simple hello or how are you? very cold! I have been in sales, own a business, am a very matter of fact individual and am a problem solver! and know that they are scamming other customers, people that dont know anything about vehicles or mechanics should be very concerned about doing any business with this dealership! I paid a premium price for this vehicle, and have had it for 10 months and i recently went to have my tires rotated and was told i only have 20% left on my back brakes contrary to the 90% 108 point inspection report, i have only put on 10,000 km's on the car and i dont drive erratically , this is normal driving! I got so tired of trying to deal with this, because no one gives you answers, the whole staff of the dealership seems to be under pressure from the owner and now that i think about it, i had talked to one mechanic and a recent hire car sales man, and they said they would not rather deal with the owner and that some people love him and that a vast majority dislike him. The last starw was when i went into the dealership 2 months ago, because the car was still not up to par with fuel economy i was only getting maybe 340 km per tank at best, these cars are supposed to get anywhere from 400kms - 450kms, i brought it in also because there was a vibration at 2000 rpm's which has been a problem with some of these cars, look it up or google it! I book the appointment and bring the vehicle in and tell the mechanics desk what the issues are and i want it fixed and that i would like the owner to call me or come down to address the situation! I waited for a couple hours and in that time not one staff said hello except for the sales guy who informed me about the way things run there, after i expressed my frustrations to him about this vehicle and dealership. this happened outside while i was waiting. Finally i went to the service desk and say that nope, didn't find anything wrong and that will be $$$$$ dont remember the amount. I told the service desk agent to call the owner or have him come down to deal with the issue because THERE IS AN ISSUE. The punk was rude and condescending and said" Why would I do that" I had to raise my voice and tell him that im not leaving until you fix the problem! I want answers and i want the owner to come down, now im p***ed, I went to the sales manager and told him the same thing, that we are all going to have a meeting and to get the owner on the phone or get him down here, this a*****le completely ignored me! I went back to the service dek and demanded this to be dealt with! Finally after doing some more yelling about my issues with the car and all the extra money its costing me, the service manager comes out and tells me to stop yelling....it was pretty heated. to make a long story short i told him to take the car for the weekend and find out what is wrong because there is something wrong with the car! He asks me can i get a ride home?......i said you want me to walk? lucky me....pffff, he finally said we will send you home with a vehicle and he addressed the concerns and issues with the car, i addressed the importance of the owner getting in contact with ne to deal with these issues, and his response is " well he isnt in very much and he isnt just going to drop what he has to deal with you" in a nutshell. WOW! F***ING ARROGANT! Interesting When no one is dealing with it at the dealership you go to the top correct? So, the service desk agent says "we have a master mechanic and I AM SURE HE WILL FIND THE PROBLEM" as he is a master mechanic as well he says. Me and my fiancee come in to the dealership on monday, and speak with the service manager, and he says " we didn't find anything" and was clearly upset...pfff go figure! i said lets go out and have a look then and so we turned on the car and the vibration at 2000rpm's was noticeably more silent. I asked what did you guys do to it differently? he says nothing, didnt do anything took it for a test drive" It's pretty funny because i drove it off the lot and the car runs better than it did, even my fiancee notices, the gas mileage is much better, yet they didnt do anything to it? I'm calling there B.S. and you will be dealt with because its corrupt all throughout the entire dealership!.......and i will tell you why..i monitor my credit reports, transunion, equifax...etc the finance department "lady" decided to go and do 4 hard enquiries on my credit, 2 with TD, 1 with mazda and 1 with scotia bank in 1 day? I didnt have bad credit and i put $4000 down on the vehicle plus a very stable income, they drove up my interest rate and also it would have prevented me from going to another dealership to get a vehicle because of TO MANY ENQUIRIES AS***LES.......The owner still hasn't contacted me and i'm not done with them yet.......! this is just a warning to you people that dont know anything about cars or mechanics, DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND WILL SCAM YOU EVERY WHICH WAY THEY CAN......I will see them in court if they dont address and fix these issues, not to mention i work with police and regularly donate to my local MLA'S!

not to dispute multiple visits, but on each visit with concerns of drivability or fuel economy, nothing was found wrong. As for fuel economy, the dealership did nothing but drive the car and put gas in it. Using a calculation of liters used verses distance driven, it was pointed out to this owner that his vehicle did in fact meet his expectation. Although there is some serious embellishing in the consumers story, I think a level of buyers remorse comes into play. Our service department went out of our way to supply alternate transportation, carry out extended road tests including supplying fuel, meet with the customer and his partner to explain the facts attained through mileage driven. No charges were issued for diagnosing, road testing, fuel etc.
As for running better when it was picked up, all we did is have a staff member who lives in Chilliwack (with the consent of the customer)drive the car home Friday, to work and back Saturday, and work on Monday morning. Fuel economy was calculated and substantiated to the customer. Nothing else was done!
