Skylon Kennels

I have read the different reviews listed here & I am so disappointed that people would rather write here than come to me!

Hip displasia is a multi inheritable disease: many factors can contribute to its ocurrance! Much like diabetes! Obesity is just one of them & certainly any animal that is overweight at a young age can be susceptable!
Furthermore: if any dog I produce has a problem: I will definitely do anything I can to resolve the issue! I stand behind every puppy I produce!

It sounds from the reviews here that customers did contact Skylon Kennels and received less than a satisfactory response.

It's not the physical issues that concern me, although it's unfortunate that some of these dogs have inherited problems. Most pure bred lines contain genetic problems and I don't hold the breeders responsible as they take reasonable steps to test for these problems. What does bother me is the lack of socialization offered to the dogs. If a young puppy is sold within the window of socialization (first few months) they will grow up to be a wonderful dog with a beautiful temprament. Unfortunately, many of the dogs at Skylon are sold as young adults and by that time the window of socialization has long passed and these dogs are timid and afraid of certain things for the rest of their lives. That's unfair to the dogs and to the people who purchase them.

I did face to face with you complaining. I quit 2 times because of the way the dogs were treated. Nothing changed
