I Have been bringing my fur kids to her for years and trust her with the well being of my little ones. She has pointed out issues that the vets have missed, or gets me to bring them to the vets because " They just don't seem to be acting the way they should" That hunch save the life of one of them.
If she feels that your dogs are being neglected, she will call you out on it. That is what she did to me years ago.....I didn't know everything, or anything as it turned out, about dogs but instead of getting upset about it I asked her to help.
She showed me how to brush and comb 'properly' and we got on a 5 week schedule. Now my furkids are happy healthy and smell a lot better.
She sees the worst that people do to their animals, she also works with the SPCA to help out when and where she can.
She is fostering 16 puppies for the SPCA, from that seizure that happened 2 weeks ago in Langley, so if she was a bit blunt with you, sorry.
I know her and what she has done for me personally, has made me a better pet owner.
So you can run away if you want to run from the truth........but the crew at Animal Haven in Surrey, are the only ones that will ever groom any of my furkids.
I'm not advocating running from "the truth" (how presumptious), but from abusive behaviour, which is never justified, no matter how much of a "better pet owner" it may make you!
