Ruined my son's birthday
I booked a party with Rinx in November 2012 and my son had a fantastic time. I booked again for November 2013 and it was a complete disaster. When I arrived for the party this time they informed me that one of the activities was not working. Not the end of the world but it was one that my son was really looking forward to. Then they tried to charge me for 45 extra minutes in the party room which I never requested. While the kids were in the mini bowling two of the lanes were broken down and the host had disappeared for 10 minutes. She came back in time to fix it only to move on. Unfortunately at that time she informed me that the hour of laser tag that the kids had been looking forward to the most, was not working. She said they could play bowling for one hour which they didn't really want to but that was the only option available. We went to have the pizza and there were 13 kids and they only brought enough pizza for 12 kids. One kid sat there with no food waiting and by the time it was time to move on to the next activity the food had not arrived so one kid did not get to eat. The hostess told me that the laser tag was now working and they could go ahead to do that. We waited in the party room. One hour later the kids came back and we discovered that the laser tag had NOT been working and that the woman made them play tag in the laser area for the hour. To top it all off I had bought the candy bar for $80. The candy selection was pathetic to say the best, the candy was stale and hard and most of it wasn't even edible. I will never book a party here again and I would very much suggest that you don't waste your hard earned money here.
