My wife had her car towed there 2 weeks ago and they did a battery check on a 1 year old Honda battery and found it to be no good and had my wife buy another. They would not honour the warranty on battery because they said the vin or plate numbers did not match!?! So I changed the battery myself and realized the alternator was gone as well. So I drove it to my mechanic and had them check the replaced battery and low and behold it was good. So put the old battery back in and it runs fine with the new alternator. I returned the battery to Honda and requested full money back for battery check and new battery. OMG . I have never encountered such behaviour from a Manager. He accused me of yelling and screaming which was totally unfounded. Nor did he like my accusations of bad business practices. After checking the old battery with the same tester it apparently read that it was good. I am very sure that Mr. Robitalle is unaware of this type of service that is going in his facility. Without apology or acknowledgment the service Manager refunded my money asap so I could leave.(so as not to contaminate the remaining customers in his service dept). In short, have your problems double checked to eliminate needless repairs. The service Manager at Newmarket Honda is in desparate need of customer service training or getting results without authority.
