Newmarket Honda

My wife had her car towed there 2 weeks ago and they did a battery check on a 1 year old Honda battery and found it to be no good and had my wife buy another. They would not honour the warranty on battery because they said the vin or plate numbers did not match!?! So I changed the battery myself and realized the alternator was gone as well. So I drove it to my mechanic and had them check the replaced battery and low and behold it was good. So put the old battery back in and it runs fine with the new alternator. I returned the battery to Honda and requested full money back for battery check and new battery. OMG . I have never encountered such behaviour from a Manager. He accused me of yelling and screaming which was totally unfounded. Nor did he like my accusations of bad business practices. After checking the old battery with the same tester it apparently read that it was good. I am very sure that Mr. Robitalle is unaware of this type of service that is going in his facility. Without apology or acknowledgment the service Manager refunded my money asap so I could leave.(so as not to contaminate the remaining customers in his service dept). In short, have your problems double checked to eliminate needless repairs. The service Manager at Newmarket Honda is in desparate need of customer service training or getting results without authority.

Hi every one. I went to Newmarket Honda a week ago because I had my engine light go on they told me it would cost $100 to find out the problem I said yes so I waited about an hr wast of time they came up to me with a fake smile and said can I talk to you I said sure the service adviser named Poul watch out for him he is new and looking to scam you to make his commission he tells me my engine is Blown he tells me I have anti freeze in me spark plugs and that I need an engine so he priced me out a used one for around $600 at carcone scrap yard and the total would be $2400 for a used engine installed so I called carcone my self to find out how much for a used engine carcone told me $450 now I am pissed off so I went to my mechanic they charged me another $80 to look at it and they said my engine is fine the compression was 180 180 150 180 that is perfect for a car with 250 K so they cleaned me throttle body and changed my plugs because they where old and miss firing also the engine light goes on because a need a valve for my EVAP canister so I went back to the dealer and complaint about it and the manger witch is also a liar he tells me the reason the mechanic said I needed an engine was because I had low compression when he was done telling me lies I told him I want to find out why my light comes on and nothing else so I went back on Monday and my mechanic was right it was the EVAP valve and I had them change the part and now my Honda runs good so be careful of dealers they are looking to scam you of your money make sure you don't repair your car at the dealer before you have another mechanic look at it or it will end up costing you and Honda customer service is a big wast of time they do not care and will do nothing to help you as a customer really sad they must think ever one will pay up and do nothing else.
