Dryer delivery
Received a survey with our delivery however didn't state where to send it too? Why ask a customer to fill out a survey if you can't hand it in?
Delivery did not go well at all. We knew from our order (Home Depot) the date it was going to be delivered. We were notified by Home Depot in detail that the delivery company (Mighty Moving) would contact us and provide a delivery window. We were NEVER contacted by the delivery company on a time. We contacted Home Depot and LG in the afternoon on our delivery date and they had to call the delivery company on what was going on? Long story short the delivery arrived later that afternoon - finally. The delivery drivers offered no apology on why they never contacted us? They also never took off their shoes and trekked water throughout our house. So strange since when we had our washer delivered a couple weeks prior those delivery people, took off their shoes and also changed into indoor shoes. Common sense. These delivery drivers did neither. They brought in our dryer and it was the wrong color and model. Contacted Home Depot and LG while the delivery drivers were here and were advised we need to "refuse the delivery". Which we did. The delivery drivers were not happy and started to rant how they just worked for nothing and this was a waste of time. Then started to try to talk us into keeping the dryer? Which I advised we were not keeping a $1000+ dryer that was the wrong model and color. The angry delivery drivers did leave with the dryer and tried to make us feel guilty over it and how we should provide a tip? Apparently it's our fault it’s the wrong item? Who asks for a tip? For what? Long story short, called Home Depot again as soon as they left and advised them of our delivery experience. We have the correct LG dryer and color arriving tomorrow and asked that the same company and drivers are not used. Which they agreed and booked it with another company to deliver the correct item. Mighty Moving could have handled this delivery allot better. It’s not their fault it’s the wrong item but they should have called as they were supposed to let us know the time and it shouldn’t have been so difficult to refuse the item. Which it states clearly on the order form that we can do when it’s not the correct item. Would never use Mighty Movers and hope to never encounter these delivery guys again. FAIL on all fronts. Hoping to hear from your office on an apology.
