I purchased a leather sofa about a year and a half ago. There was a design flaw in the sofa and the colour was coming off the leather. It wasn't possible to replace the sofa as it had been discontinued. This really concerned me because I had purchased two deco rest custom chairs at the same time as well as tables, all carefully selected around the sofa. I was told to come in and reselect another sofa. Round trip driving time for me to Teppermans is 3 hours. I have also taken off two days from work - one for delivery and one for the repair person to come out. I will now be required to take a third day off. I was pretty escalated when I went into the store, and then I met Natalie. This woman is a gem. She came over to me immediately and asked how she could help. I explained my situation to her. I also told her that since she worked on commission and I wasn't buying anything, I would understand if she moved onto another customer. Not only did she do this, she took me by the arm and said "Come on let's sort this out." So kind. I showed her a pic that I was interested in and she said she had something even better for me. I ended up purchasing the first sofa she showed me. It is a gorgeous Steven and Chris sofa. Natalie helped me pick out all of the colours - was even able to get pillows made in the fabric of the original chairs. I love it. I hope Teppermans is aware of how special Natalie is. I will certainly be back and be sure to work with her. Customer service was good - everything is working out. Giving 4 rather than 5 stars just because of inconvenience of not being compensated for the travel and time off for having to change sofas - also ended up having to spend more money.
