Promises and Lace was the first bridal store I went to when beginning my search for My perfect wedding dress. I went to numerous stores in the Hamilton area as well as Oshawa and Toronto areas and none came close to the professionalism and serenity offered at Promises and Lace. I always scheduled my appointments first thing upon store opening to avoid the weekend busyness. Carol was very helpful and friendly, she greeted me with a warm smile and knew my name, she inquired about the style I was looking for and my budget. She quickly started pulling dresses and invited me to try them all on. She offered to take photos and then she brought me a dress she thought I may like. I tried it and I like it a lot! However I continued my search as it was my first store. Each dress I tried on just didn't quite compare to the one Carol suggested, I even dreamt about it! After approximately 33 dresses I returned to Promises and Lace tried the dress on again with the veil this time and fell in love all over again. I highly recommend this bridal store to anyone who can approach the search for the perfect dress with an open mind and willingness to try on a dress you may not gravitate to immediately, it always looks different on the hanger.
