I can't say what has happened to this store. There is no ambiance anymore. I moved back to Coquitlam after living in Europe for 3 years. Was I in for a rude awakening!!!! There was such a nice lady working there when I left, the old one is back there again. She obviously took her great talents elsewhere, sometimes her sister would work there too. It was a treat and often hilarious listening to them carry on. The store has decreased by two thirds! It has an awfull smell, like a dusty thrift store! 3 years ago this was one of my favorite stores, I shopped here at least once or twice a week. Then I would not hesitate to give consign-it a five star rating, now 1 star is a hard one!Maybe they should take those dated paper signs that are stuck up all over the place, give the place a thorough cleaning, and try talking to customers........NICELY. BTW as business owners you should have your own bags and or wrap, not have signs begging for that too. It does cost money to run a business, after all being a consignment store you don't even have to pay for store stock. I would chalk this up to bad managment skills.
