Round Two

This is a follow up to the disaster from last week's delivery where damages to my walls and door were incurred and the upright freezer, once unwrapped, had a large dent in the front door. Once again three great delivery men came to replace the freezer unit today, but when they were ready to bring the new freezer into my house, we saw a large dent in the side rear corner of the unit. So, once again, a second Friday was wasted for me, a second upright freezer arrived damaged, and the original damage to my walls and basement door from the first delivery have yet to be addressed. I am really discouraged about the quality control of appliances coming from factories. It makes it hard on stores like Teppermans and the delivery team bringing damaged goods into households, dealing with upset customers who have been let down in the process. Freezer Delivery

Today my new freezer purchased at Tepperman's London location was delivered to my house and proved to be quite chaotic. The delivery men damaged my walls in five places, damaged the basement door in three places and when the packaging was removed from the upright unit, there was a huge dent in the front of the door, which was done apparently done pre-delivery. It was very stressful, disappointing and upsetting but I am optimistic Tepperman's will rectify the entire situation to original condition. Having said that, the two delivery men, Pat & Brent from truck #3 could not have been more professional, respectful, understanding and reassuring that all would be made right by the company. They were excellent representatives of the Tepperman organization and I was impressed by their character and ownership of the unfortunate damages that resulted from this venture. I will reserve comment on the store and delivery company until after all is repaired and replaced.

I'm so sorry to hear about this. I can really understand why you'd find it stressful & disappointing... I would too if I'd been in your shoes.

I'm also so impressed and appreciative by your ability not to "throw the baby out with the bathwater", so to speak. To be able to give Pat & Brent credit for how they handled the circumstances, especially given the way you must have been feeling at the time, isn't something everyone is able to do.

I can assure you that Tepperman's will make it right, just as Pat & Brent promised - and I want to hear about it personally if you feel that we're not doing so at any time.
