Volvo of Vancouver

I live a long way from a Volvo dealer.My car a 2007 I have had since 5000kms has been to a dealership or any shop for that matter twice this being the second time. I do all of my own work so its nice to come to a place that I trust. They did software updates fixed park sensor, calibrated window auto ups, windshield replacement and gave useful advice about bulb replacement(do them in pairs). If you do your own work most of the time or not you can trust them to do good work. I dealt with Jim and he is great.

The service advisers were welcoming and very helpful deciphering my gibberish when describing my car issues. They also detailed the work planning to be done and gave updates for any additional work needed when the diagnostic was completed. When picking up the car, they gave a full rundown of the car and the work done.

My wife dropped in on very short notice to have the service department fix a problem that arose while she was driving. They helped her out, fixed the problem and had the car back on the road in 2 hours. Awesome service.

Have been taking my Volvo for servicing for almost 10 years now and find that they are careful and meticulous and alert me to what needs to be done next and over what time frame. Twice I have been there to replace a blown out lightbulb and they have installed it for me without extra charge.

The service was friendly, efficient and complete. I was impressed that besides my car being washed it was even vacuumed! Thanks DDM!

I brought my xc60 in for warranty service because it had a minor vibration at low speeds. Based on experience at other dealerships I had actually expected a "no fault found" and that it would take extra energy to help them pin point the problem. Just the opposite happened. They acknowledged the problem right away and ordered the required parts. There was a delay because they had to order additional parts. They promptly organized a courtesy car so it was minimal inconvenience for me.

Without the patient and knowledge of the entire service team; my 25 years old "vintage" 740 wagon would have been recycled turning into raw material for a long time.

Your efficient and courteous manner set the highest standard in the industry.

Car always finished when promised; no unpleasant surprises aka extra charges. 'Bought the Volvo in 2005 - through the 9 years the service has always been just as good.

I can recommend both the sales and service with confidence.

The repair was great, the rental courtesy car was great, but checking in to get the service appointment, in the morning, was poor. There was a long line, and 3 service guys who were too friendly and too slow to check people in and get them on their way to work. Also, with each customer, they would run outside to the customer's car to get the mileage for the invoice, also making the entire process far too slow. They should get the mileage after, once the car hits the shop, to speed things up (they could even phone the customer at that time to notify the customer of the mileage).

The staff are always professional and pleasant and take the time to explain what work they will perform

We have been long time owners of Volvo vehicles and customers of the Don Docksteader Dealership at Cambie and Marine. Although I did not identify myself as such, Mr. Jose DaSilva re-attached my side view mirror on the spot and declined to charge me for the service. This was completely unexpected and same for the immediate service! This was over and above my expectations. Thank you Volvo of Vancouver!

On time, on price and no extras. None of the dealer hoodoo we all imagine to be the case.

Just a note to let you know what a great saleman Jack Cheung is....I am sure you know. I started looking for a vehicle and Jack has been by far the best person to deal with.
He is an honest and straight forward individual a real pleaseure to deal with I would recommend him to anyone.
