We had an excellent experience at Storage Mart East York. Daryl was super friendly, professional, and very helpful, making the process quick and easy. The facility is clean, secure, and well-maintained. Highly recommend for anyone needing a hassle-free storage solution!

The staff are helpful, honest, and truly great. The downside is that StorageMart reserves the right to increase your rent every month, and I believe I was told something like 30%. They also don't tell you this when you sign up, and only when you are there at the facility. StorageMart needs more transparent pricing and policies online.

Had a great experience with this Storage Mart location at 120 Wicksteed Avenue. Smooth and efficient process from beginning to end. Daryl was a pleasure to work with and he very carefully, thoroughly and patiently explained everything I needed to know to get my stuff into storage quickly and without any delay. Thanks!

Daryl was wonderful. He was warm and friendly, and he explained everything in all the detail that I wanted. I felt like I had come to the right place. The location was also so clean and tidy. Daryl also introduced me to Paul so that in case I was coming at another time, I might be served by Paul. The place felt family friendly. Thank you Daryl for giving me the service I needed!

I was in desperate need of moving supplies…I had offered to help a Friend move, in the Leaside area, but they had seriously, underestimated how many boxes they would need. I didn’t know the area but found a StorageMart and within I found a wonderful StorageMart Employee named Daryl. He wasn’t just helpful, he was happy. (you rarely find Happy Employees, anywhere, these days) yet he was not only happy, he was funny. I walked in, in such a state, and dressed for moving, not to be out in public…but he treated me with such respect …like he just saw me and my dilemma. I promise you that he never tried to upsell, yet… somehow I got a card from him to give to my “moving buddy” to gently suggest she store some of her “stuff”, and maybe rethink some of her life choices, before putting all this stuff into her new home. I have been a customer for a number of years. The service has been reliable and the facilities are well kept, secure and easily accessible to renters. They have been very responsive. Most recently, I was assisted by Paul, who promptly addressed my questions and needs in a timely and very attentive manner. He also kept me abreast of the progress. Thank you, Paul!

Like you, I went online and checked the different prices/locations. I thought I secured a good deal with the location at 120 Wicksteed Avenue. I paid online, and I showed up for the check-in the next day. I even had a few phone calls with their customer service to verify everything and be ready for the check-in.

Check-in day: As soon as I gave them my name and the unit number I reserved, the manager (Paul) stepped in (like he was waiting for me) to tell me that the deal I had was incorrect, and was only valid for 2 months. I had to agree to it before we complete the check-in. I was surprised. I checked the lease agreement I received, and I couldn't find any mention of a promotional offer. I requested a written confirmation or an invoice, and he REFUSED! He said I had to agree to it, and it would appear in the system. I suspect he was trying to change the rate manually in the system. The initial one was too good! THAT'S HOW THEY LURE YOU!
They also TRIED to force me to buy a lock from them, despite the confirmation email stating I could bring my own.
Please exercise CAUTION when you deal with this location. THE REVIEWS ARE FAKE, I GUARANTEE YOUR INVOICE WILL BE SURPRISING!

I spoke with Daryl to set my storage unit. He was really nice and informative. He had a great sense of humor and made the whole process very smooth! Appreciate this type of service

I went in 30 minutes before closing on the 29th of December all stressed out and exhausted, but Daryl was very patient, kind and helpful with me. He showed me all I needed to see and gave me as much information as I requested with clear explanation and instructions. He even stayed 20 minutes after with me trying to get the system to accept the discount i was supposed to get on the storage unit I rented.
Daryl went above and beyond what was necessary to ensure the service provided to me was more than satisfactory. If you ever need to rent a storage unit, Daryl is the man to go to.

Daryl was awesome while getting set up with my unit. He answered all my questions and made sure I was able to access the building so there were no issues with the delivery of my furniture. This location had the best price in the area for the unit size I was needing and had the best reviews. Hopefully we will be able to downsize soon but we will likely have a unit here for a while.

I have used StorageMart for many years and always had good a impression. We moved out of our unit today and encountered a problem with our lock. Daryl was extremely helpful and friendly despite being bombarded by us first thing in the morning. We were in a rush because of a time crunch and Daryl solved our issue quickly, with a smile and eased our anxiety. Would recommend this location.

Did a lot of research before selecting StorageMart. We had a very nice and easy registration process with Daryl. He showed us around the facility as well as our locker and both were clean. We didn’t see any evidence of mouse droppings. Did not give 5 stars because I think our storage unit is expensive even with the introductory offer. We were told that the monthly fee will likely increase at four months. Daryl actually said it could be at 3 months but I told him that the woman on their customer service line said she would guarantee the price for 4 months so he said he would add a note to our account. Let’s hope they honour this promise.

I was at the location to secure one of the storage units, and I really appreciate Maris for being so detailed, patient, and transparent about what to expect with my reservation. She guided me through the entire process, which made the transaction very smooth.

I just hope that StorageMart will continue to grow and become more competitive by opening additional locations in the North York area and adjusting their pricing. Despite being far from where I live, I had a great experience at this location.

Daryl at storage mart is so personable and always remembers my name! It was an ease booking my storage unit, any questions I had Daryl answered promptly and it made the experience so stress free.

Excellent customer service!!!! Daryl was super nice, very knowledgeable and professional! Everything got explained perfectly! The place is unbelievably clean! It is worth all the money the you spend. I definitely recommend this business.

Super easy to get set up, Daryl was very helpful in giving us a run down and getting us started. More affordable than other storage in the same area. Kept very clean, easy to access any time of day with personal vehicles or moving trucks. Quick and easy to end the term when I no longer required it. Would likely use them again if I need storage again in the future!

Check in process was smooth and Daryl provided me a very detailed introduction to the storage unit and the facility, as well as the detail terms of the lease.
I was informed that rate beyond promotion period would be higher, but that seems to be the same case for all storage’s providers near by.
This facility is clean and well lit.

Had the pleasure of being assisted by Daryl to find just the right storage unit for my short term needs. Daryl was not only helpful but was very personable, friendly and efficient! Personally I felt the at most top tier customer service with the knowledge and assistance of Daryl! Would definitely recommend this facility as it was clean, bright and well kept by the team but nonetheless would recommend Daryl for any inquiries, and concerns about the rental of storages as he goes above and beyond making sure you’ve got the right unit for your needs!

Daryl at the Wicksteed location was very helpful and lovely. I used my locker for a year and a half and had no problems at all, he helped me both with set up and check out.

Unit was clean and accessible.
The staff have been exceptionally friendly and helpful during every communication.

I hope I never have to pay to store my things again, but if I do, I would certainly be a return customer.

I have never used a storage facility before so I had no expectations. That being said, I would highly recommend StorageMart if for no other reason than my experience with Daryl at the Wicksteed location. He was brilliant on multiple levels. He talked us through the whole process before we got to the location and then walked us through the building to make sure we were totally comfortable with the facility and the layout.
Prices can be a bit off-putting, but if you pay attention to promotional offers you can save a ton of cash.

I didn't know that a storage experience could be so pleasant, but the five stars all go to the manager, Paul. He went above and beyond to help me get moved in and to make sure that I was getting exactly what I needed out of storage and that I knew all the ins and outs. I had struggled with communication with some administrative staff over the phone prior to moving in and this caused some difficulties, but Paul really took the time to help iron everything out. Beyond this, he's just an incredibly kind person and I really appreciate the interaction we had. Without Paul, I have to say StorageMart has some room for improvement in training its office staff on how pricing and plans work, but overall I would highly recommend this location because you'll be in the best hands with Paul.
