So I bought a digital camera here. Unfortunately, i thought that I'd buy an extra storage chip and battery too. The salesman spent about 15 minutes trying to find both, and finally said he was 90% sure the battery replacement would do the job. I said I didn't want take the 10% chance that it wouldn't work, so ijust bought the camera (in the original manufacturers box), and the extra storage chip. When I got home, it was quite clear that the storage chip was WAY too small to fit the camera.
Why do they hire these people? I'm taking the camera back tomorrow to see if I can get the appropriare size chip, but I WILL NNEVER SHOP THER AGAIN!!!

Last week my dying computer started having fits. The motherboard had been experiencing problems for weeks but it go a whole lot worse. Various bits on the board would just fail. And not so randomly it seems. For example, not until I had to get into my home computer from work did the built-in network card quit on me. A twist on Murphy's Law. How bad your computer fails is directly proportional to how badly you need to use it.

Dropped by with a detailed list of new parts and was out of the store in about 10 minutes with everything I needed. Check their website out for stock inventory - it's accurate.

Got home, built the system, fired it up. Nothing.

The next day I hauled the system back and I guess I had a troubled look on my face standing at the counter, already 2 hours late for work. The tech dude took petty on me and put the system on the bench right there. The video card they sold me was DOA. No problem he said. Now, he did have to send me back home for the packaging because the serial numbers are right on the boxes these days, but once he had that he simply walked over to the checkout, had them transfer the whole transaction over to his area, and within 15 minutes had a new video card installed and the system humming.Also suggested I not replace the video card with the same make and model because they were junk. Took the opportunity to upgrade that part. Instead of doing a refund and purchase he simply charged me the difference so he wouldn't tie up my credit for days and days.

When I asked "how much", he said "nothing, this wasn't your fault".

An honest computer tech. Priceless.

So I've touted other computer stores in Hamilton but these guys will get my business from here on in on principle alone. it's just a coincidence they do have the most competitive prices in the area. Very knowledgeable, friendly staff that seem content on having you for a customer as opposed to gouging you for nickles and dimes.
