Marlin Travel

1st time was fine 2005 not pleasant but got the job done. Booked our honeymoon 2008 spent $4000 with Cathy Hedderwick, Markville Mall location Markham, Ontario, Canada and I had to do all the work and she still charged us the standard $50 fee, what did we pay her for?? We had to research all cruises on our own time, we had to find one that fit our schedule, I had to call carnival for our past guest number - all this should have been researched by her, she should have provided some help because I can call a 1800# much faster than going through this horrible 3rd party!!! I told her multiple times it is our honeymoon make sure we get something - I clearly wrote this in a e-mail advising there must be something for free, a gift of any size a cake, a $10 bottle of wine ANYTHING IS BETTER THAN NOTHING!! I was very, very clear about this and my dad who is a long term client of theirs also reiterated make sure she gets something, she agreed but did nothing. Marlin Travel did nothing and neither did Carnival. I will never use this company again and recommend other people do not. I even got the same price as calling Carnival directly but with horrible service and fees. I didn’t even save money and I did all the leg work!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!
