AAMCO Transmissions

Recently, late one afternoon, I noticed a grinding, scraping sound coming from the undercarriage of my car. I stopped by this AAMCO garage and learned that they had no appointment times for 2 days. However, the manager said, "let me have a look" and he found the problem and fixed it on the spot! I have used this AAMCO garage twice before (after the garage we went to for many years closed) and have had this same service - they are polite, responsive, quick and very good at what they do. It is nice to know that this kind of service is available in our neighbourhood. On a scale of 1 to 5, I would give them a 6! Great service and a big thank you. I will be back.

We live in Seattle and were visiting my daughter and family in Vancouver. When coming into town, our 'check engine' light illuminated. My son-in-law suggested that I take the car to AAMCO. They had been using them for the last couple of years, and had nothing but good experiences there. After meeting the manager, {Vic} I felt much more at ease. I should mention that we had a few bad experiences back home, so I was a little nervous going there, despite my family's recommendation. He was both very friendly and professional in taking our car in to be checked. The problem was quickly diagnosed and the cause of the glitch was repaired that day at a reasonable cost. I wish all auto repair shops were that way. It would indeed be a better world!
