Do not shop at this store! Returning merchandise is a horrible experience. After going to this store for many years and spending a lot of money there I had to return a defective pair if shoes there tonight . I was told by two clerks that I must provide my personal address and phone number or they could not give me a refund. I was shocked! I asked why and they said it was store policy. I said it is not printed on their receipt and I did not see it posted near the cash register. They repeated it is store policy. I asked to see it in writing and one of them said it is in the manual but it wasn't available and just shrugged. I said I didn't want to provide that information and she handed back my receipt and said she couldn't give me a refund. IS THIS EVEN LEGAL if it's not posted where customers can see it? I ended up giving her my address so I could have a refund but I will not shop at this chain of stores again. It's their loss and I'll be posting this on other social media accounts I have. They should have read the other posts here and addressed this issue a year ago but obviously did not care enough to do so. A complete lack of respect for customers and our privacy. I may decide to contact my lawyer and see if I can have my information removed from their system.

On Monday, December 14th, my girlfriend and I went to the store on Steeles Avenue. When we walked in, nobody greeted us and the young girl that was working there was sitting down on her chair on her cell phone. She had black hair and wearing black clothes. A couple of minutes later another lady came out from the back of the store and at least greeted us. She was older with blondish hair and glasses. The other girl was startled and quickly stood up, but she remained behind the counter on her phone. We walked around the store for a little while and gave up and left. While we walked outside my girlfriend looked through the window and noticed that the same young girl sat down again and continued on her phone. it was definitely an awful experience. we decided to go down the road to the Shoe Company and spent almost $200 on shoes. I will never return to that store again. Its pretty obvious that the employees have no interest in their job.

I WILL NEVER WALK INTO THIS STORE, NOR EVER EVEN CONSIDER PURCHASING A PAIR OF SHOES FROM WALKING ON A CLOUD AFTER THE WORST EVER CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE i HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED AND ENDURED IN MY SHOPPING LEISURE. I WILL BE REPORTING THIS STORE AND ITS EMPLOYEES AND MANAGEMENT TO THE ONTARIO PROVINCIAL MINISTRY OF CONSUMER PROTECTION FOR A BREACH OF CUSTOMER PRIVACY. THIS STORE DEMANDED TO HAVE MY PERSONAL CONTACT INFORMATION ON FILE -- MY PERSONAL TELEPHONE NUMBER & PERSONAL POSTAL MAILING ADDRESS -- AND REFUSED TO REFUND MY CREDIT-CARD WITHOUT MY GIVING THEM MY PERSONAL INFORMATION. I HAD RETURNED A PAIR OF SHOES WHAT WERE NOT MY SIZE, AND THEY REFUSED TO REFUND THE PURCHASE WITHOUT MY PERSONAL INFO. WHEN I TOLD THEM THAT I DID NOT WISH TO DISCLOSE AND REVEAL SUCH PERSONAL INFORMATION THEY WERE DEMANDING, SUCH AS MY LIVING ADDRESS, THEY WENT ON TO SAY THAT THEY WOULD REFUSE THE REFUND WITHOUT MY PERSONAL INFORMATION. I SPECIFICALLY TOLD & INFORMED THEM THAT THEY WERE BREACHING A CUSTOMER'S PRIVACY, AND THAT I WOULD CONTACT MY LAWYER ALONG WITH THE ONTARIO PROVINCIAL MINISTRY/DIVISION OF CONSUMER PROTECTION. IMMEDIATELY THEN, THEY, HURRIEDLY, TRANSACTED THE REFUND . I WILL BE REPORTING THIS STORE AT CLOVERDALE MALL IN ETOBICOKE, ONTARIO FOR BREACH OF CUSTOMER PRIVACY, AND FORCING ME TO FILL OUT A SHEET OF PAPER WITH MY CONTACT INFO. FURTHERMORE, THEY INTIMIDATED ME AND SAID, "WE WILL NOT REFUND YOUR CREDIT-CARD WITHOUT YOUR PERSONAL TELEPHONE NUMBER AND PERSONAL MAILING ADDRESS ON FILE. THIS IS OUR COMPANY POLICY FOR RECEIVING A FULL REFUND." NEVER, EVER WILL I STEP FOOT INTO THIS STORE, AND RECOMMEND THE SAME FOR ANY FUTURE CUSTOMER WHO SHOULD NOT BE COMPELLED TO GIVE THEIR LEGAL INFORMATION TO A SHOE STORE.

I will never return to the Walking On A Cloud in Cloverdale Mall, the service is horrible. I came into the store on a Saturday morning and four sales associates were standing by the cash desk and not one person bothered to even approach me to say hello. I had to approach a young lady, in her mid-twenties and ask for service. She went into the stock room to get my shoes, when she came out, she put the shoe box in front of me and walked away, I basically had to serve myself.
I then described my foot problems to her and asked her what shoe she could recommend for me. The young lady seemed annoyed with me when I asked her and she replied: "I'm not a foot doctor." When I told her that I had to leave because I had an appointment but I will be back, she couldn't get away from me fast enough. The sale lady said: "Ok fine, have a good day."
She went up to an older, tall gentlemen and she said: "I need a smoke." I thought to myself, "Ok then, someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed."
I came back the following Monday, hoping for better customer service, I was wrong. I was served by the assistant manager, he had no patience at all, worse than the younger lady and he claims that he has been in the shoe business for over thirty years. The shoes that he was fitting me with were either too loose at the back, pressing on my bunion,or just not supportive enough. When I told him all that, he replied:"Madam, you tried on a lot of shoes but nothing seems to work, we sell comfort shoes, so if nothing works I don't know what to tell you." He walked away and I went to the cash desk hoping to get another sales associate and I overheard the assistant manager at the entrance of the stock room telling his co-worker that "This lady is driving me up the wall, its not my fault if she has a f*&king, fat foot."
I'm sorry but I will never shop at Walking On Cloud in Clover dale mall again, I've never had such poor and disgusting customer service!!!
