Was at your Pembina Hwy store on Saturday and was looking at a "second hand" bath sheet and you had it priced at $9.99!! I mean seriously.....for a towel that someone has donated!! It didn't have a tag indicating it was an extremely high end towel or any tag for that matter. I asked a lady who was working in the Dept. and she indicated that was the correct price.... I was also looking at a Double Bed Quilt priced at $16.99 and a King sized one at $8.49. I had looked at both of them and the Double was more worn than the King and once again she just indicated that was the correct price!! I feel for clothes, housewares, etc. that have been donated your prices are getting way out of line!! Just a thought that you might want to adjust some of your prices. Have spoken to many people both at the store and outside the store and many, many fell the same way when it comes to your prices!!!

Although the prices are a lot higher than they USE TO BE, it is still cheaper than paying $50 for one shirt at any other department or name store. Also, the Pembina location is by far the cleanest, most refreshing and most organized VV store I have ever been to in Winnipeg. I will gladly pay a little more and be sure that I am not bringing smell or bugs into my house with whatever I buy. Koodos to Value Village Pembina.

I have been a valued customer of VV Pembina for 5 years. I agree that their prices has gone so high although they are used. Also, they schedule their sale on Mondays. I hope they would reduce their prices to be affordable to low income buyers. Anyway, these are from donations and stocks should to go and not kept.

Yes , Value Village is more expensive than other thrift/used stores - seems prices have gone up dramatically in the last 4 years. I find looking for a multi items or wardrobes MUCH cheaper on KIJIJI, but less selection of course.

The last few times that I have gone to Value Village, I have found that their USED items are expensive. I now venture to other stores where I can buy the same items NEW for a 1 or 2 dollars more. On the plus side, they have a huge selection of Halloween items, clothes, accessories for the entire family. I'm hoping that they will come down in their prices for at least some USED items.

The items in this store are not cheap (most of the items do not sell for under $7), but they have a large selection of apparel. mostly from the last 20 years.
