Toujours Mikes

Back in 1967, the Marano brothers opened the first Mikes Sub shop in Montreal. Inspired by their native Italy and their mother's home cooking, they set out to create the perfect sandwich. With freshly baked bread, the finest cold cuts and carefully seasoned “secret” sauces, Mikes Subs were an instant hit. Sure their sandwiches were delicious, but Mike Marano always said that real success came from being close to his customers. He’d then recite the names of all his regulars. A lot has changed since then. Our menu has grown to include pizzas, pastas and more, and there are over 100 Mikes® restaurants like this one in neighborhoods across Eastern Canada. Yet the Marano brothers’ legacy lives on in many of our traditions. We make fresh pizza dough every morning and cure our own pepperoni. Most importantly, we try to get to know you a little better with each visit. So sit back, relax and feel at home.
