Coras makes a big deal about serving Crepes and pancakes, unfortunately they do not actually appear to know how to make real Crepes and their pancakes are quite awful!
I have had the misfortune to go for breakfast there three times and have been really disappointed each time.
In addition to all the other annoyances, I found the service bad and the cashiers rude.
Specifically - the first time I went there, I ordered Crepes. I love Crepes, and used to haunt various Crepe restaurants in Toronto. I actually know how to make Crepes, so I think I can judge a good crepe when I taste it. Coras crepes are NOT real Crepes, I'm not sure what they are, sort of a cross between a tough pancake and a really badly made and spongey crepe, but not a good crepe. It was however, Served with plenty of fresh fruit.
The next time I went, I had pancakes. Well, that too was a huge mistake. what I got was something resembling shoe leather in consistency and sawdust in taste. Served with plenty of fresh fruit. the only saving grace.
the next and last time I went I avoided pancakes and crepes and just went with a simple omelette and toast and fruit - MISTAKE!!! they can't make omelettes either.
And after all that and the lousy service, they are overpriced. I would prefer to get breakfast at a "greasy spoon" or "truckstop" place.

Cora's is my favourite breakfast place ever, hands down. The menu offers a huge selection of delicious dishes like french toasted brioche and most plates come stacked mile high with fresh fruit. Perfect for a hangover cure - or just a nice lunch.
What a great little place to treat yourself and your family!
But make sure you go early or you will have to wait in line, they are THAT busy!
Fresh strawberries, pineapple, bananas, oranges, kiwi, apples, and more in a beautiful display of colour and food.
You can have an exquisite tropical fruit crepe with creme, regular bacon and eggs, or the famous Billy Button omelet extraordinaire!
Very reasonable prices as well, a definite treat from the everyday breakfast.
Definitely recommend 100%. THe rating is wrong, I give 5 stars!!!!

Additional business details
Cora's "breakfast-lunch" restaurant is open from 6 a.m. until 3 p.m., doesn't serve any fried food and is usually not licensed to serve alcohol. Each restaurant's layout is simple and warm, and features an open cooking area open where customers can see their meal being prepared. An adjacent area is especially reserved for the preparation and service of Cora's famous fruit plates.
