Stacked Pancake & Breakfast House

This place is a go-to for my family when we feel like having a special breakfast! The kid's menu is loaded with fun, kid friendly choices! The regular menu is absolutely 'stacked' with great options. My wife recommends the eggs Benedict, with peameal bacon or if you're up for it, try their new chicken option. I also must add, their burgers are a great choice for breakfast or lunch depends how hungry you are feeling at the moment !! There's definitely something for everyone on the menu, so check it out for yourself !

Yesterday I visited with my family Stacked on Essa Road in Barrie, I was very impressed by the server’s kindness and fast response. Food was great 😊 seats are very comfortable, different from other franchise locations. I think this location will be my stacked spot in Barrie from now on.

Hats off to the chef the day we went to eat! Loved their food. I had eggs benedict AND 1 cinnamon/apple and cheesecake pancake topped with white chocolate chips and icing sugar. I 420ed myself before arriving!
Waitress was ok. What I didn't like was that she was literally hovering over me while accepting payment from another table. At one point, I turned around because I could feel her standing over me. That was very uncomfortable.
What I'm learning is that servers really don't give a crap about their tips. They make minimum wage, and anything is a bonus at this point. My waitress FINALLY made a conversation as she was waiting for her machine back.
Either serve or get out of the industry. 🍍

I’m feeling ripped off. Menu charges should match the machine. Surcharge button I am assuming to get my bill up? Menu states clearly $7.49 I am charged $8.99 for kids French toast. Surcharge of $1 for no upgrade. Service was extremely slow. I waited 20 minutes and watched people sat and orders taken the entire time.

Stalked is a great local place for a great breakfast or lunch. The staff are friendly and professional and always there to top up your coffee. They are a very popular place especially on the weekends and both times we have gone we have had to wait, but the food is delicious and certainly worth it. They offer the usual fare specializing in pancakes and stuffed crepes. Their sandwich selection is diverse and they make a great burger.

One of the best breakfast spots. Very kind staffs & polite serving. Standard menu options. Steak & Bacon are really good choices.
I went on weekend and it’s too busy, should be there before 9 to get good seating.

Very good overall experience. Fast service, friendly service, good with the refills. The food was pretty good, just something missing to take it to the next level. The Benny-Hash was good, just not great. The children’s chocolate chip cookie dough pancakes were massive. Market price on the food. The serving portions were quite large. When Stacked is busy, it is a little difficult to get in and out the place, a little cramped for sure.

Today was our first time going to this location. It started off alittle rough however, the owner Manny quickly acknowledged what happen and took care of us right away. It was done in the most professional and pleasant way. The staff was very welcoming and attentive. We would definitely be going back.

We had breakfast here Nov 3 /2024. Got registered and waited 10 minutes to be seated. When our name was called the hostess put us on a 6 table seater, I saw a smaller booth and asked if we can moved there since the restaurant was busy and was told “ NO “ because that table was assigned to someone else. Few minutes later, we were told we are moving to the smaller booth cause they needed the table for a bigger group. Which was okay . Breakfast was served and we enjoyed it. We finished eating and was served more coffee, then one of the server told us to take a few minutes to finished drinking our coffee then we can leave because they are busy and they need the table. We have been a regular customer to this location and I am totally upset the way we are treated here. This will be our last time dining in this restaurant. They just lost our business. This is not the way you treat your customer. No matter how busy your restaurant is you don’t tell your customer to finish their coffee and leave.

I love this chain. We have eaten at 3 different Stacked in Barrie, one in Huntsville and are anxiously waiting for a new one opening soon in my town. It is basically a breakfast and lunch restaurant and has been compared to Denny's, which is NOT a good comparison. Denny's does not come close to the great food experience at Stacked. Breakfast is served all day with lunch items available as well but I am unsure as to what time lunch is served. It is served as early as 11 a.m., for sure. The variety of breakfast items is large. Pancakes, waffles, wraps, typical bacon and eggs (sausage, etc., also). Eggs Benedict and much more are on the menu. Service in all locations I have been too is exemplary.
