Yesterday i went to Loomis Art Supplies in Halifax, Nova Scotia and purchased Conte portrait set of 12 for $30.00. Today i found this site and the exact same set offered at Currys for $16.00. Half the cost. I am sick. I will shop here from now on. I recently put an order in with Cheap Joe's Art Supplies in the states thinking it would be cheaper but be warned, by the time they tacked on $68.00 american shipping, plus the order had to be converted to american funds, then the tax , then customs was going to charge their rate as well, i would have spent more in the long run for my supplies. I will shop canadian from now on. The free shipping on orders over $35.00 is a very nice touch from the company as well. Very customer friendly. I have always found the employees very helpful and never too busy go give a helping hand in any way they can. They ask if you need any help and if the answer is no get out of your way to let you browse but are available if you have a question. The store is well managed with a pleasant, welcome atmosphere.
