Won the top prize for there raffle but they then said that they didn't have the dog one available cause someone won it earlier in the day.......then remove the option? I won the top prize but have to take a lower one cause you were not prepared?

Let me start off by saying, this location is great if you're looking to SPEND money. However, if there are any issues with what was purchased, good luck getting a return/credit from this location. We purchased Primal freeze dried nuggets (a small bag) for our toy poodle to help him possibly readjust to his old food.

However, the bag we purchased, the nuggets were rock hard and near impossible to break apart or re-hydrate. Regardless we fed them to our dog anyways despite our doubts and hesitation. Feeding instructions were directed to feed him 4 nuggets per day based on his 8lbs weight and so we did just that. After the first day, he vomited. The second day, he vomited and had diarrhea. Uncertain that it was his food (since our dog has been on this food before and was okay then we didn't suspect otherwise). This was until day 4 when things got progressively worse and he had blood in his stools from the non-stop diarrhea.

I brought the bag back to Bosley's and explained to them what has happened and we had tried for several days confirming that it was his food that was causing the reaction. The store owner/management refused to do anything for me and just left it as "oh, there half a bag left - we can't". I'm extremely disturbed this was the end result. We fed him 4 nuggets for 4 days as per the bag's recommendation which equates to 16 nuggets if you do the math - yes! that's a good portion of the bag. However, who is going to compensate me for the vet visits we then after had to pay for?

I'm not confrontational, so I left the store giving the store owner back the bag of food with the receipt (proof of purchase) attached/taped to the bag and left. I told him to do as he wishes with the food because there is absolutely nothing that I can do with it at this point. We have spent THOUSANDS of dollars with Bosely's and Pet-Valu (when we lived in Toronto!) and I'm extremely saddened and disappointed that even with a sick dog now, they are unwilling to help rectify the problem.

What benefit would I have to lie about this to deceive my way for a refund and what benefit does it serve them anyways with an opened bag of food. Wouldn't it be more beneficial to them that they ensure that their customers are happy along with healthy pets so that they can CONTINUE to spend heaps of money at their store???

I've never had issues with Tisol ever in my past. Now that we are back in Vancouver - I will go back to supporting Tisol even if I have to drive the extra distance and mileage to support them. They have always granted me a refund with a reason, well knowing that we will always return as patrons for as long as we have pets. It's a life-long commitment which means a life-long customer for as long as their pets are healthy and happy. Businesses really need to start valuing their repeat customers more - what's a refund of $50 compared to the THOUSANDS of dollars we spend just to ensure a customer will continue to spend with you??? Think big picture, not small minded.
