The lady at Hakim Optical has great customer service and was very helpful I wish all optical places are like hers, the store is amazingly taken care off and worth doing business.Thanks a lot.
I bought 2 pair of glasses at Hakim, Kingston rd. and of course they let you believe that you are getting a deal. Cheap frames and cheap lens...PLASTIC. Mine were simply reading glasses but by RX. He added to the "deal", a protection for the lens. The protection is like a scum all over your glasses and the longer you have them the worse it gets. I would not recommend paying the outrageous prices for the low quality. Next time I will buy a pair of reading glasses at a pharmacy. They are clearer than these.Pat

Hakim Optical began more than 40 years ago with Mr. Hakim grinding lenses for the Canadian wholesale market. His craft was learned, as a youth, in his native Iran and honed, in subsequent years, grinding lenses in Germany and then camera lenses in Switzerland.
Attracted by the excitement of retail opportunities, Mr. Hakim began to pass the great deals he gave to wholesalers on to the public.
Today Hakim Optical serves the public with 124 outlets (including 99 one hour factory outlets) in Ontario, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Manitoba.
