Amj Campbell Van Lines

I used AMJ from Winnipeg to Ottawa. My items were first to be stored in Winnipeg, then transported when I had a place in Ottawa. The movers in Wpg were great - very courteous and careful. I tipped them all very very well. When the tractor-trailer arrived in Ottawa, there were only straps keeping the shipments apart. The shipment that was next to me (I was the first one closet to the cab) had fallen into mine. That's ridiculous. It broke many of my more fragile items. Atlas did not compensate me for any of the broken items even though I paid for the extra insurance because I packed them myself. AMJ also misplaced my son's monitor and we never received it. They did pay me for that directly, AMJ did, not through Atlas insurance, which was more comendable. My advice: ask how the shipments are separated, and you would be better off watching the packing into the tractor trailer and store at your destination than the way I did it. Atlas used a different company to unload here, and that was a whole other story.
