Very disappointed with Weedman. Lawn still has weeds, none of the edges had been sprayed. Young guy was here for very short period of time. Missed the month of august completely - said this was due to weather conditions, too hot but no offer of refund. Got an invoice for 2021 and sent numerous emails cancelling and made two phone calls and was told that my contract was cancelled but this could not be confirmed by email to me as the system does not allow this but they will pass my comments onto a supervisor. I have a horrible feeling that my card will be used again, without my permission, next year.
Certainly do not advise using this company.............

It's horrible dealing with this company, I saw how they work from our window: 2 young men came circle our house and left in 3 minutes, they did nothing to weeds on our lawn! But there are 2 things they didn't forget: dropped the bill to my younger son and left a "serviced by Weed Man" sign on our lawn.I was very disappointed and called the company to cancel the service, though they agreed on phone but about 10 days later the service people came to our lawn again with another bill, one of the men admitted he did nothing on our lawn last time because there's no weed, this is really funny, if there's no weed in our lawn then why do I need those people? After I showed him a large number of weed here and there, he said those weed were newly -grows! I told them that I didn't like to waste money on this kind of service and asked them not to come back, but several days later they knocked our door again! Even after they agreed to cancel the contract they kept on harassing us through phone pushing sale of their service, though my husband said lots of "No, No" to one of their managers and hang up the phone, we still received a paper contract stating that we had "confirmed" a deal in the year of 2015 with them! I'll inform all my friends with lawn to keep away from this scam company, for those who already agreed contract with them please remember Don't give them your credit card, otherwise if you don't like to renew the contract they will still charge your card without your permission, several people have told me the same frustrated stories.

Thank you for leaving this note and review. I’m sorry to hear how frustrated you are and hope we can clear up some of these issues for you. Feedback from our customers is necessary so we can keep improving our business practices and serving the community better.

We take any issues involving our employees practices very seriously. We want to treat every lawn as if it were our own and are sure to employ and train professional workers who will take the job seriously. Weeds do have a tendency to grow very quickly, or may take multiple applications to get rid of. For this reason, we don’t charge customers for every weed application they receive, but on a subscription basis so they can get as many weed control applications as necessary to kill unwanted weeds on their lawn. If our technicians missed weeds, you would have not received any additional charges for our services, but just the monthly fee you had originally subscribed to.

Our contracts are signed on a subscription basis. Just like a cell phone or utility bill, we continually charge customers on an ongoing monthly basis for all the services we provide, year after year. We try to make this clear by including a note on every one of our invoices and sending reminder letters to our customers well in advance of the new year, so they have time to cancel services if they no longer require them. Customers can cancel a contract with us at any time they choose by calling our office and letting one of our service representatives know.

Similarly, if at any point you want our sales team to stop calling with other recommended services, or want door knockers to stop coming to your house, you can call us and we’d be happy to put your name and address on our Do Not Call or Do Not Knock lists.

Weedman has provided horrible service both for the lawn and for customer service. After firmly requesting to be taken off data base they kept coming and charging us EVEN after we kicked them off our property. The call center insists there is no manager and have a tactic to charge you and THEN remove you from the data base. Don't get caught up in this poorly run system - they will waste your money on bad grass and charging for services you asked them NOT to give. I'm not the only one unfortunately. Go with a local company who gives personalized service, we are now and are pleased.

Please save yourselves a bunch of headaches

I cancelled a service 4 month ago with Weed Man but they still came on my property without my authorization and performed the service I cancelled. These people will do anything to get away with errors and mistakes. I sent an e-mail to a manger that was no longer working with them (They probably treated him the same way I was treated on the phone) asking him to cancel all my services because a customer service rep. decided to shut the phone in my face. I never received any type of automatic responds back and the e-mail never bounced back. I sent this e-mail to customerservice@weed-man.ca. The e-mail I sent was read by many CSR’s but no one decided to respond back. That’s how they get you….Now they are chancing and harassing me for payment for a service that they should have never performed. I call this steeling.

Please stay away from these people. I will warren every single person I know, the neighbors and my co-workers about Weed Man and their services. And BTW, when you call and they pick the phone, the first thing they’ll say, “It’s an amazing day, how can we amaze you? It should say” It’s an amazing day, how can we screw you?"

Weed mans awsome i got the basic weed control package for my 3500 sq feet lawn and with in a month there were significant changes. The broad leaf weeds that i had started to disapear and my lawn looked way healthier and greener. Thanks weed man.
