Peoples Jewellers

I ordered a ring online. I received the email saying it was shipped, but never heard from the store to say it had arrived. After contacting the online service department they told me it was at the store in Oshawa....for the last three weeks!!! I called to confirm and the rude store clerk said it wasn't their responsibility to call me that they send an email to say its in. Well I didn't get an email either!! When I said that she replied "honey its not their responsibility"!! The staff at this store give peoples a bad name. I would like to give them a 0 out of 10 for service. I will never return.

4 weeks later and still waiting !!! As when I went in origanially I was only wear my engagement ring as my wedding band broke so I was upgrading rings and so excited. I'm a size eight and told consultant many times , she didn't bother to tell me I was trying on a 7,I could not get it off as a result I sweld like crazy she still did not listen to me as I was concerned because she wanted to order a size 9 so long story short waited 3 weeks for it went in to pick up and of course was huge did not fit at all like i new would happen and i said I knew it wouldn't fit !!! Consultant then said to me why didn't you say something, Really!!!!!! So then proceed to tell me I was a size 7 she didn't remember me or the struggle I had getting that 7 off my finger omg now I wait for my size eight for another week!!!!

I've had equally good and bad experiences here. The first time I purchased anything was a birthday gift for my boyfriend. The initial experience was great, I felt as if the sales associate was trying to look out for my best interest and gave me as much information as possible. I purchased a watch as she assured me of it's quality and that this one in particular had a face that wouldn't scratch, this is what really sold me on the item. About 2 weeks after giving it to my boyfriend there was a hairline scratch right across the face of the watch. I went into the store and the woman essentially called me a liar. I said that I had been told it would not scratch and she said "noooo, who told you that?" when I told her she was the one who said it to me she was quick to defend and tell me I was wrong about everything I "thought" I was told, despite telling her that was the feature that made me purchase the watch so I was certain I did not mishear her. They would not have it fixed.
Another time my boyfriend purchased a necklace for me that was on a great sale. The quality was great, but I accidentally snapped the chain while putting on a sweater. We had a lifetime warranty so they took it in to be fixed. Four hours after having it returned the chain broke in the same place very easily when I was taking the necklace off. I was obviously unhappy about this, but when I took it in they gave me a brand new chain of slightly better quality rather than even suggest fixing it. I was very pleased by this and found it to be a positive experience. Overall I believe it is a great jewelery store but was offended by the manner in which the one woman dealt with me during the first incident.

This store is highly recomended...The Ladies of this store are so loving and caring.
