The Brick, Toronto Reviews (13)
My wife Eva Omandam and I have been longtime customers of the Brick-Dufferin. This time we bought 2 big sofas, a Queen mattress and some mattress covers. We had a wonderful sales consultant by the name Gary Morgan. He showed us different kinds of leather sofas, their features, make, etc. until we have made a decision. He also offered us a mattress on sale, which we liked and eventually bought it too for our son. The sales process was made easy and quick by Adrian Schokman, a very good store manager who gave us some perks too. Overall, it was a great experience and we’re definitely coming back if we need more appliances, etc.GOOD JOB, GARY AND ADRIAN!!👍👍

Thank you Ajay for being extremely helpful throughout my whole online shopping experience. I highly suggest Ajay to anyone looking for help with furniture etc.
Went and bought a new Sealy Queen sized mattress and box spring. Then decided on getting a new headboard and frame to go with it. I did not realize that the new headboard and frame would eliminate the need for the box spring. Salesperson 'forgot' to mention it. When it was all delivered and assembled I quickly discovered the error as one would need a step ladder to get into bed. Called the Brick and spoke to both my salesperson and her manager. Both refused to take back the box spring. They essentially stole money out of my pocket. I believe it was due to me refusing the extra warranty they kept trying to shove down my throat during the purchase process.
First, the salesman was very good about helping me decide on the actual products I wanted and wandered the store with me discussing and comparing the items I was interested in. Eventually I selected a love seat, sofa bed, 2 end, 1 side and 1 coffee table, a t.v. stand, mattress covers for my bed and arranged for someone to come and assemble several pieces...all to be delivered on Dec. 9th to my address in another city. The following week a gentleman who was trying to schedule a date to come and assemble the items for me (I'm a senior and not able to do so myself) in Toronto where I was living at the time. I told him no, the furniture was to be delivered to a different city and he advised me to contact The Brick to confirm my address because the one he had was for the street/apt I was moving to but listed the city as Toronto. I immediately phoned The Brick and sure enough he was right. So the woman I was talking to assured me she had made the changes and my furniture would be delivered to the correct address in the correct city. I received a confirmation from a different individual for the assembly which was scheduled for 10 a.m. on the 10th. I even phoned The Brick days before my move just to make sure and was advised that yes, all was going as planned. So I sat here till 2 p.m. waiting for my "morning" delivery and finally phoned the store only to be told that my items were on a truck doing deliveries in TORONTO and that they had tried to contact me at a phone # that was now disconnected BECAUSE I HAD MOVED TO A DIFFERENT CITY! The woman I spoke to wasn't even apologetic and stated she couldn't reschedule the delivery until the following day because she had to wait till the furniture was returned to the warehouse. SO, this morning I waited till 11 a.m. and finally phoned them again. This time the woman who answered said she'd change the information in the computer...which was supposedly done three weeks ago with my first call...and the earliest she could reschedule is for this Saturday, Dec. 12th, no specific time...they'll call me the day of the delivery to let me know the time...so I can sit here all day and wait again. If I was the woman I spoke to yesterday the rescheduling of a client's delivery would have been the first thing on my task list the following morning, especially since it had been our screw up, and the client wouldn't have had to call me back because I would have contacted them already. This is not what I expect when I spend $5000 and it is certainly is not the level of customer service I expect. No apology, no waiving of fees or credit to my account, nothing. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT THE BRICK AGAIN, either at this location or the local store here in the Niagara Region! I gave them 1 star because there is nothing lower than that.
Horrible service. They cannot commit to anything they tell you. Spend your money elsewhere!!
NEVER AGAIN.. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE.. ALL STAFF THERE IS SO DAMN LAZY TO THE POINT THAT THEY DON'T EVEN SAY HI TO YOU WHEN YOU WALK IN, IT TOOK 30 MIN FOR A WORKER TO EVEN COME UP TO ASK IF I NEEDED HELP..
Purchased a TV & Accessories on Black Friday. the salesman was nice enough and shot me a couple of deals when I had already decided on a more expensive item.
I wanted to buy a TV, not make any new friends. Some people want their behinds licked by sales people, I just want some specs and the price.
ps I am not a Brick employee

What a terrible customer service experience, if that's the way they treat people who are paying to buy things at their stores then I'm shocked that they are still in business!
they were suppose to deliver a fridge to my house but it never showed up, upon calling a week later, they said they came by the house the day of purchase which was a total lie. i did not recieve the fridge until 2 weeks later after paying another delivery fee. WORST BRICK EVER.
I`ve bought furniture here, paid $400 for the warranty, and they won`t fix it.It`s been almost 2 years I`m fighting for this
Never Again
