I went to the bay in fairview mall for a tie. I looked at the directory when I came in but it failed to mention the mens sections. I guess they ran out of letters of the alphabet. Or perhaps it's cause the signs are specific to the floor you are on. Mens stuff is in the basement. Still the directory is poor. See the photo if you are really bored. Ladies this, Womens that. Anyway I made a big mess looking for the tie. Then just after I paid I saw a nicer tie, so I scooted over to another cashier to make the exchange. Much work for a tie. But the wife liked it so I guess it was worth it.
Anyway I kind of like the bay even thought I think they have struggled to find their groove. So today I heard that the owner of HBC - Jerry Zucker - died on the weekend of a brain tumor. He was only 58. I feel bad for him and his family. I will think of them when I wear my new tie.

According to women, men don't ask for directions anyway, so I guess they figured why bother ;)
