Flooring Republic have had stores across the UK since January 2016, and are the retail arm of Anbo International Holdings, a family-run Chinese wood flooring manufacturer and distributor. Anbo, run by Bobby Zhou, have 30 years experience behind them, and supply sustainable products from forestry, woodland and production centres in China. Meanwhile, Posh Flooring originated as an online-only flooring retailer set up by Dominic Nowell-Barnes in 2011, and was one of the UK's fastest growing businesses, with Dominic spotting a gap in the market for a flooring company which was purely based online. After a couple of years, Dominic was able to expand his business, and set up a retail store in Leeds City Centre. In 2017, a merger deal was agreed which would see Posh Flooring, who were one of the major players in the online market, become the online arm of Anbo's retail business Flooring Republic.
