There are a lot of storage options out there, especially in the Leaside area. Believe me, I checked and did my research, and I have to say, without a doubt, the client service from both Bianca and Princess was absolutely outstanding and got my business. To top it off, the facility is great, clean, secure with competitive pricing, but I'll say it again, the client care is what did it for me. They were both attentive, friendly, thoughtful and professional. I would give more stars if I could.

This location at Wicksteed is the best one I’ve dealt with so far as they are very accommodating to our requests. The storage facility itself is clean, well-maintained, and very accessible. My mom, brother and I have dealt with Access Storage in Leaside for many years and they have been unfailingly professional, patient and polite. Most recently, we had a bit of an emergency - we had movers scheduled to arrive within hours and couldn’t find our unit key - and Princess helped us put a plan into effect, late on a Friday night between Christmas and New Year’s. She went above and beyond with professionalism and good humour. We’ll continue to use their services.

Princess helped me through the application which was fairly easy and straight forward. She also showed me the unit before going forward with the payment and explained all the terms and conditions in great detail.

Had the most amazing experience at this location. Needed a space to store my vehicle and was fortunate enough that I chose this location. Access is always a good choice, but this location was by far the best experience I had. Princess assisted me with the whole process and even assisted me with the part of actually getting my truck into the tight space. Interacted with a total of 3 people from the staff. Everyone was equally amazing. Choose this place; the staff is really good, the facility is clean and well maintained, and above all, it's really safe.

Access Storage has been a great experience for me and our team to access our equipment in a timely manner. The facility is clean and well maintained. Staff are courteous and helpful.

Great place but not much good without a cart to move stuff to your unit. You need luck to find one and the entrances are so far away from most units it's impossible to move your items without one.
After I posted the above review they increased my rent from 200 a month to 300 a month.
If you plan to rent from these people be very careful!

The woman staff the older lady, is absolutely hilarious. The elevator use has a bit of a learning curve. The downside of the company is that their office close early so you can’t move late during the day. The bright side is the staff is friendly, clean and good price

After being a customer of Access Storage for over 20 years with multiple units, I was given 1 month to vacate due to the closing of the facility. There was no compensation offered except the option to move to a storage facility 10 miles further away at the same price. I ended up moving to a better, cleaner (and inside storage as well) facility equal distant to the original facility for less than 1/2 price.
To add insult to injury Access Storage charged me an extra month after moving out and after repeated visits to the office and repeated calls to the regional manager, it took three weeks to get my money back, again with no compensation.
I will never deal with these folks again.

One star is way too many. Stay away from them. Rude and unprofessional employee at 205 Wicksteed Ave, East York Office. I felt helpless and humiliated by how they treated me there. This happened after they provided only 2 weeks notice that I have to vacate the unit due to the location at 40 Beth Nelson Dr East York closing, offering to relocate me to 40 Metropolitan Rd in Scarborough.
THIS EMPLOYEE told me BASICALLY TO WRAP UP MY QUESTIONS AND CONCERNS that I had about all the moving and miscommunication between the 2 locations, because she needed to keep doing her job, as if I were not a customer for the last 9 months who always paid on time. I went to 40 Metropolitan Rd, to visit the unit they assigned to me and WHAT A SURPRISE, FULL OF MICE POOP and smelled like mice urine all over the unit, building H, disgusting (see pictures below).The employee there said that it was a problem they have there, and it was hard to control it. I understand that mice are found in places like this, but from there to rent me (it is not charity or free of rent) a place which has unsanitary conditions and can cause health issues to customers/ and their own employees shame on Access Storage's "good reputation". When I tried to explained to the office employee at 205 Wicksteed Ave, East York Office she said that was not under her control, and she could not offer me any solution or answer to that, and that the customers store all kind of things. I felt she was making a bad generalization of ALL the customers, also that the company did not share the network between their offices when I asked her politely to share my insurance docs that they have on file with the new the location. Also a 40 Metropolitan Rd office employee explained that as per her Regional Manager the first 4 weeks in the new location were going to be FREE, and even printed for me the billing and then at the 205 Wicksteed Ave, East York Office the unprofessional employee said that was not true even thought I showed her the print out from the relocation office. Also that for those who choose the movers option they were not free, and she did not even answer me when I asked if there was any guarantee if anything was broken at the time their movers were working, what was the policy? She simply ignored my question.
As soon as I received the relocation email I called in and the lady from the call center was polite and sounded like she listened to all my concerns telling me "don't worry we are doing everything to accommodate our customers, this will be a painless change", what a bad joke, she even took notes of my request and concerns.
Also with a day of receiving the relocation email, I also received the billing for the new location, wow there is definitely no NETWORK SHARING PROBLEMS when billing your customers Access Storage.
I hope everyone else doesn't have to deal with these issues if you decide to keep giving business to Access Storage.

Terrrrrible. Let me rent a locker the beginning of the month and pre pay until March, to serve everyone notices that we need to be out by a certain date. They never told me this, but they knew back in 2020 that they were looking their leased land by this date. There was no transparency on their end. I feel this is almost criminal. Taking money, allowing to be pre paid, when they knew we would have to move our stuff out in a few weeks time. They knew their lease was ending Nov 2023, yet still rented a locker on Jan 1 2024 and let us pay until March 15th. Knowing they were going to kick us out the 1st of February. Absolutely disgraceful business practices.

Worst place ever 😡🤬🤬they shouldn't even be in business.... After renting a unit in December 2023 till March 15 2024 which is our moving date .we were told to vacate by February 1 due to them loosing their rights to the land they have been renting 🤬😡 there's no way they didn't know this was coming... When we rented from them 🤬 please stay away from these people nothing but scammers .and to top it off they were aware of this since 2020 and were told to vacate the land by Nov 2023 but still went ahead and rent us a unit till March 2024😡

So even if you reserve, Access storage can decide and cancel your reservation suo moto. It’s just that they didn’t even bother to inform, i had called to verify and was told its been cancelled and rates and availability will be company’s call.
A little disappointed with how they treat clients.

I rented 2 different units at the same location and had a great experience. Was excellent customer service. Seamless rent and return process. Teams are reachable at anytime for help. Wide variety of unit sizes and reasonably priced.
