Ikea

When my wife and I get into a fight, this is where she goes, because she knows I hate it.

She says she likes Ikea for the inexpensive, yet stylish, furniture. But by the time you factor in gas for the drive there (an hour each way), hot dogs and iced cream for the kids, and incidental purchases (Korg spatula, Tuvok vase, etc) she felt compelled to make while being forced to wander down every damned alley in the store, the $60 Bjergen desk you wanted is $1231.69. Then she puts it on her Visa, and you don't find out about it until two months later when she's like, "can I borrow your debit card to get groceries?"

On the plus side, there's a kid's zone that doubles as a free day care if you play it right. Half-star for that.
