Transferred to this branch to be closer to the new house I'm moving into and all my payments (before the start date) in the other location were refunded. The offers they have are also worthwhile.

Very bad service. I rented a storage unit just two days ago, and when I urgently needed access today and had to make several trips to move my belongings, my access code didn’t work. No one was available to help or open the unit. This is unacceptable — people rent storage units specifically because they need immediate and reliable access. Completely disappointing experience.

I thought that my experience at this storage place was excellent. This was my first time using a service like this. The customer service was amazing, and not just one time. It was consistently great. I wish I could remember the names of the people who helped me. Even little things like offering me cups of water on my moving day made my experience better. I had to move by myself, and in mid July/October, so I was a bit faint on my moving days and I would often forget to bring a water bottle.

The elevator worked, the carts worked great. The only thing that I thought wasn't great was the hill on the loading area. It's super hard to load on a slanted parking lot with a cart that rolls away, (but not impossible.)It was rarely ever busy in that area, so I didn't feel rushed. I liked that the place was close to a skytrain station too.

I only had 3 months or so there, but I never had bugs or rodent problems. It was easy to pay over the phone too, and I was super happy to learn that I didn't need to sign a long contract or anything. Simply month to month. Exactly what I wanted!

I had such a great experience at NationWide Self Storage on Boundary! From the moment I walked in, Salmin and Lisa were incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure I found the perfect unit for my needs and took the time to explain everything clearly. The facility itself is spotless, secure, and easy to access, definitely one of the cleanest storage locations I’ve seen.

Amazing experience with friendly staff!
I came in just 5 minutes before closing to get a contract. They told me it usually takes about half an hour to set up a new one, but they were still super friendly and welcoming. I also compared the prices with other storage places nearby — this one is really reasonable, plus they offer 50% off for 3 months!

The location, staff, and price were all perfect for me.

I strongly advise against renting this storage facility if you wish to keep your belongings safe from rodent infestations. I would give zero stars if possible; however, I am giving one star solely for the friendly staff who tried their best to assist me.

I had been away from Canada for about a year until this year and rented this unit to store my furniture, clothing, bags, and other personal items—none of which included food. Approximately six months later, my friend discovered a severe mice infestation. Most of my belongings including inside of the boxes were contaminated with mouse droppings and urine.

When I first signed the rental agreement, the staff assured me that the facility was clean and secure, which led me to choose the lowest level of insurance. Unfortunately, I had stored items worth over $4,000, yet the insurance only covered $500—barely enough to offset the $500 I paid for professional rodent cleaning.

Although the staff remained polite and kept me informed about the ongoing issue, the storage company itself took no meaningful action to resolve the situation or compensate for the extensive damage.

The facilities are always clean. I've never had a bug or rodent issue (mice ate my furniture once at a competitor facility). The staff are always friendly and helpful). I have been a repeat customer for over 15 years now. I have never had a negative experience.

I had a great experience renting a storage locker at Public Storage yesterday. This location is very good, right next to the skytrain station. Sarah and the property manager Jatin were both really helpful and made the whole process easy and straightforward. Sarah was friendly and patient. The facility itself was clean and secure. I just moved out from the Rupert location, and after my experience, I am happy to give this establishment a 5 star review. :)

I rented the smallest locker available, which is a 5'x5' space (8' ceiling). Upon opening it, it was nice and clean and felt bigger than 5 square feet, but alas, I did not actually measure the dimensions myself.
You could likely fit a small apartment's worth of belongings in this unit if you dont own a whole lot of stuff, and have a small couch.
The first month was free as advertised, but you need to be renting more than just one month to get the deal as far as I know. So essentially, you still need to pay for your second month up front, but that first month was still free.
My rent was roughly $120/mth after the free month. I'm not sure if that's an average price or not since this was my first time renting a storage unit, but i wasn't upset with the price. That comes to about $4/day when you think about it.

I recommend renting closer to the beginning of the month if you want your money's worth because I made the mistake of renting my unit on the 15th, so I really only got the half month for free, which I have no complaints about, since that was my fault.

You do have to bring your own lock or you can buy a lock there. I bought my lock there and it came to around $10 give or take.

The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful as well! I would definitely recommend this location to a friend in need of a storage locker. :)

I went to Public Storage yesterday, at the Rupert location in Vancouver. I would like to thank Jatin Vig for patiently showing all units I wanted to see. Thanks to him, I could choose the one that best suits my budget. I felt welcome and valued as a client. I was also concerned about rodents. However, Jatin showed a very cute unit that belongs to a service cat, who keeps them away. I went home reassured that my belongings are completely safe.

Excellent service. Very nice staff especially Jutin. I rented for 3 months 50% discount it's huge discount. I rented storage size medium 5 x 10. Elevator is excellent and many dollies you can use for free to move your stuff from your car to your storage locker. They have very clean washroom all the time very clean with hot water. Service from 5 am to 10 pm. Very secure no issue at all. As whole it was great service with very nice staff. I absolutely recommend for every one needs such great storage. I kept my stuff for 12 in very secure and very clean storage. I would like to thank you very much all public storage staff on behalf of all people in Canada. It is very very helpful huge discount 50% for 3 months. I promise you will very very happy and satisfied. Thank you all guys wishing you all the best.

I had my paintings, furniture, keepsakes all stored at Public Storage and for 8 years they were kept very safe and easy to get to as needed. I now have a permanent home and brought back all that was stored. I was so glad to have a place so close to the city and was always found the staff helpful and friendly - much appreciated.

The staff here are the best, I have always had such helpful service, recently I had to coordinate a move and the service I recieved from Jatin, Property Manager was above and beyond, he helped me to ensure everything logistically worked out for my situation - that I have to write my wonderful experience. Together my mother and I have been long term clients, renting units on and off for 15-20 years. Everything is always very organized, secure, and runs smoothly.
