Greyhound Canada, Toronto Reviews (1)
This Bus station is disgusting when it comes to service and washrooms.October 16th 2007 was here for a 4 hour lay over with my wife and was amazed at how disgusting the washrooms were.Excuse my vivid details but shit stains all over the toilets and walls and toilet paper strewn all over. Had a return lay over on October 26th 2007 and bathrooms were in same condition. Does anyone clean the washrooms or care? Bums loitering the halls, where is security? And god forbid if you want to eat. A canteen that opens at 7:30am that serves stale uneatable sandwiches. No food machines not even for chips or junk food. We arived at 6am and were not impressed.Pop machines selling pop for 2.25 for a small bottle. get real, do you really want people to visit Toronto with this to look forward to when they arrive on the bus.Personnel are more interested in chatting with each other than with customers waiting in line. A couple of good points, Information personnel are quite polite and helpful, the food vender outside the station selling hotdogs and sausages was a real treat good food and conversation.Reasonable prices for food and pop (1.00).I will warn all friends and people I meet about how Toronto treats its visiters.
its sad really .. it must be quite upsetting having have to be put in this situation with no other options. its quite embarrasing i must add being in north america, in a country with higher living standards, in a large metropolitan city and hygien in public places is still an issue? whats going on here?
I refuse to take the bus. It all comes down to money.. I will spend the extra money to take VIA rail. It's faster, cleaner and so much more enjoyable than the bus.
