Half Price Books

It was a real pleasure dealing with the manager in this half price books. We (my daughter and I) took several bags of books in to sell, and it was a very pleasant experience. The manager was personable, fair, and so polite. His calm approach put us at ease, and we were able to browse while he went through the books, and we found some wonderful books to buy before we left. I highly recommend this location. Even though we live in Whitby, we will return to the Ritson Rd. Oshawa location to do business.

In addition to the impressive selection of both new & used paperbacks (and hardcovers), this store (& the one at the Whitby mall) both have an immense variety of books you'd normally see for $30-40 at Chapters or Indigo for as low as 9.99

The only downside is that, of course, they won't have that brand new release you've been waiting for (at least for several months to maybe a year)

Still, great deals on many many books, as I said the absolute top price of any book will be half the canadian cover price but many more expensive books can be bought for a third or even a quarter of the publisher's price

excellent quality new and used books at half the cdn price. how can you lose.
when you are done reading, take them back for a credit (but keep them in good shape).
