AAA Alarms continues to bill me for alarm service that is not monitored. The monitoring was disconnected September 2015 and AAA Alarms is still charging me as per agreed contract to June 2016. I am NOT paying for unmonitored service. This may be my breach of contract for non-payment, but AAA Alarms breached the contract by not providing a service, according to my lawyer. It is not worthy of small claims court, as the breach of contract is on both parties, the contract is null and voided. The non-payment was sent to a 3rd party collection agency, very unprofessional, as it would have been resolved by one simple meeting at lawyers office.
I called triple aaa alarms because i want to change the monitoring service from telephone to internet so they quoted me $120 plus and when the technician came he said it is $240 plus, i called customer service and they're giving me all these excuses without batting an eyelash although i've been with them for more than 8 yrs, i cancelled the service right there and there but i still have to wait one month because they said it has to be one month notice. Unbelievable you are not happy with their service anymore and you just want to leave them but still forced to stay. That's ridiculous! I DO NOT and will NEVER recommend them to anybody. Very poor customer service.
All this company wants is money money money or they blame the problem on MTS let's hope Bell gets rid of the baggage that will weight them down
One of my door sensor magnets got lost.AAA said it would cost me about 60dollars to have someone to come and replace it.I asked them to mail me a magnet, but they said they would not.I got 4 sensors and 60 feet of wire shipped to me for $12.99 total from Home depot. My backup battery needs replacing and they then told me I would have to pay for it.I then told them to cancel my contract and I would contact the BBB.They also said the battery could have been free if I had of gotten their warranty at a cost of $6 a month. Are you serious? They then told me I could get a free one if I went to their offfice,so I did not cancel.I find that if you have a problem with a company, the problem seems to rectified if you tell them you will call the Better Business Bureau. If this does not work, call their head office.
We moved to a new house in August of 2014. The buyer of our old house agreed to take over the alarm contract (ending in April 2016) we had with AAA. This agreement was acknowledged by both the buyer, and AAA, and we know that the buyer, and AAA were already in discussion to get the contract moved over. Had the buyer not wanted to take over the contract, we would have brought it over to the new house with us.
Well, unbeknownst to us, the buyer ended up backing out of the contract take-over in October 2014. AAA did NOT contact us to tell us that the buyer had not in fact taken over the contract.
In June 2015, they finally called us to tell us we owed them $400 for the remainder of the unused contract. 10 months after we left the old house, and we thought the contract was taken over. Had AAA contacted us in October, we would have had them come set up the alarm at our new house to finish out the contract. We however had a different company set up an alarm system in January.
Since June we have been trying to talk to someone at AAA to figure out why we weren't informed immediately, and come to some sort of resolution after their major customer service failure. They are not interested in discussing anything with us. They only want us to pay out the contract. We requested some time to investigate things on our end, and discuss with our lawyer, which they agreed to. Then despite agreeing, they sent us to collections.
The agent we have been "dealing with" avoids our calls and obviously does not want to meet with us face to face to discuss the matter. This company is heartless. They do not care about their customers; only about their customers' money. They will exploit you for money owed, even when it is them who screwed up.
Do not give this company any business. You will end up regretting it.

I had a AAA Alarm system installed in my new home this summer and I am very happy with the system and installation. Having an older home I was concerned with how the system would be installed but the sales rep suggested a wireless system to eliminate the need for wiring. The cost for the system was very reasonable compared to other estimates I received and I would definitely recommend AAA Alarms to my family and friends. Excellent service!
Each time I call their has been a high number of callers so have to wait for at least fifteen minutes. Why don't they have a call back service, or are they unable to dial a number. I believe they have a single operator answering. Sincerely John
I HAD TRIPPLE A COME TO INSTALL MY ALARM, THE INSTALLER DID NOT WEAR HI SLIPPERS AND CAME IN AND OUT OF THE CRAWLSPACE WITH MUD AND GRAVEL STUCK TO HIS SHOES. HE WALKED ALL OVER THE BRANDNEW TREADMILL AND COVERED IT WITH MUD, HE WALKED ALL OVER THE FLOOR AND LEFT A TRAIL OF MUD AND HAD GRAVEL STUCK TO HIS SHOES SCRATCHING AND CHIPPING THE FRESHLY INSTALLED CUSTOM HARDWOOD FLOORING. THE INSTALLER ALSO REPEATEDLY TOSSED HIS DRILL DOWN WHEN GOING IN AND OUT OF THE CRAWLSPACE MAKING MORE SCRATCHES AND CHIPS IN FLOORING. WHEN TOLD HE WAS MAKING A MESS HE REPLYED THE SLIPPERS DO NOT FIT PROPERLY AND THAT HE WOULD CLEAN IT UP AFTERWARDS. HE MADE NO ATTEMPT TO CLEAN UP HIS MESS, HE INSTALLED THE DOOR SENSORS INCORRECTLY SO THE CIME FEATURE CONTINUES TO DETECT A OPEN DOOR WHEN IT IS CLOSED, AND HE TOOK A BM IN THE NEW BATHROOM THAT WAS NOT HOOKED UP YET AND MADE A HUGE MESS OF THE BRAND NEW TOILET THOUGH HE WAS TOLD NOT TO USE IT AS IT WAS NOT HOOKED UP YET. I MADE A COMPLAINT TO THE SALESMAN AND IT HAS BEEN 1 WEEK WITH NO REPLY SO I AM NOW LEAVING A BAD REVIEW, CALLING PROTELEC ALARMS TO FIX TRIPPLE A DOOR SENSORS, CALLING THE FLOORING COMPANY TO REPAIR THE DAMAGE, HAVING A CLEANING COMPANY COME CLEAN UP THE MUD,DUST,DRILLING WASTE,AND IN GENERAL CLEANING UP TRIPPLE A MESS. ANY QUESTIONS ON TRIPPLE A SERVICE FOR INSTALL EMAIL ME AT jrobson@live.com AND I WILL PROVIDE PHOTOS AND MORE DETAILS.
AAA Excellent service. Very happy with installation & sales person. Had 5 estimates and AAA is way ahead of competition. Highley recommend.
I was one of the clients AAA "purchased" from Securtec. My original contract was with Accurate Alarm (they're great) and when I cancelled AAA at the end of the years service they billed me for the next full year plus a contract buyout. This is despite the fact that my contract was with Accurate and I have countered with Accurates intent which allows cancelling with 1 month notice after the initial period of 2 years. AAA insists that I owe for a full year of service that they are not providing.
I currently have a collection agency threatening to take me to court and I have been informed that this has affected my credit rating.
I am ready to go to court and can't imagine a judge disagreeing with the case I can make against AAA. AAA are igoring all logic and think they can bully people into giving in to their greedy ways.

A few weeks ago I was burgled. AAA Alarms was kind enough to leave a voice mail message at home ... I was at work and the burglar didn't think to answer the phone. I was in an important meeting at work and didn't answer the "blocked" incoming call. I checked immediately and no voice mail message was left ... so I assumed it was a telemarketer, etc. I arrived home 2+ hours later (with my child at my side) to find my house broken into. When I called the alarm company they sent the same guard back you they apparentlty dispatched. When I took him round to the door which had been left open. Iasked him if the door had been opened when he checked ... he had a puzzled look on his face and was silent ... I had to probe again to find out he went next door instead (which has no AAA Alarm signs or stickers on the house and is vacant). So my house was sitting wide open for over 2 hours ... the burgler (old or new) could have retunred with a moving van and cleared the house out ... luckinly they didn't. Worst was having my child witness my reaction to being broken into.
Complete waste of money. Home was broken into and items stolen. Multiple zones where triggered and security was dispatched 1 hours after the incident (police were never notified which is a complete violation of procedures). Security (which is an extra cost) arrived (now 2 hours after the incident) and was going to leave saying home was fine. A 13 year old neighbor from next door showed up and had to show the security guy that the front window had been broken. The security officer then took the minor through the unsecured home not knowing if anyone was still inside. Management was unhelpful and just blamed the third party security company they hired. In my opinion look for another security company that is competent enough to handle contact Police when an break in occurs !!! My service has been canceled.
I have had a monitored alarm through them for 7 years through these guys. Never missed a payment. Then I decided to cancel my contract, 4 YEARS after the date on the contract and they tell me that I am liable to continue to pay for the service because of the fine fine print.
In so many words, even though my contract had finished, and I never signed another one, they put me on an automatic renewal, something I never saw in the fine fine print. They are forcing me to pay for 6 months of service that I won't be getting.
There is no way out of their contracts without inducing a penalty, even after your 3 year term is up. Crooks. Management won't do nothing, they are way too big to care anymore. I just signed with City Alarm, no fine print like AAA has. After your 3 years are up, you are month to month. Cancel at anytime. AAA treated me like dog crap after all the years I gave them. All this was over $100.00. Can you believe a huge company like AAA doing that? Every blog I can tell people not to go with AAA I will be doing so!

AAA deals in substandard equipment and when it goes up in smoke, their level of service is reminding me I have a contract for 5 years. So I guess I am supposed to just suck it up and keep paying these scums. Their so-called decision makers couldn't make a decision if their lives depended on it. Unlike me, my AAA has no bearing in protecting my life anymore. Next time one of their fast talking salespeople sits at my table, I will be recording that conversation.
No one can give a straight answer to the problems I have with the system, nor do they know how to correct. No one wants to let me speak with someone with authority, as they are all trying to protect their interests
After paying $60 a year for the "Premium Plan" service which states in my brochure that I'm provided with FREE repair service they sent me a bill for $81.71 to reconnect a wire at my front door after having the door replaced.Save your money and skip the premium plan.As far as I'm concerned they are stealing your money.
I found that AAA alarm montering to be ok but if you have problems with your acount or what ever and need to speak to a person who is in Charge of AAA is not allowed. The people that answer your call will not let you talk to any supervisors or head bosses to file any complaints.
