They are absolute snakes. I am purchasing a Jeep Wrangler. I spoke to a few dealerships and got some prices. I spoke to Ramit and mentioned that my current deal was 808 per month with all taxes in. Is there anything he can do that is better? He told me 'any reasonable offer won't be declined'. I drive 38 minutes to get there and he's offering me $838. With little to no flexibility. He wanted me to come in and did this under false pretences. Instead of working with me, they spent their time insulting other dealerships and calling them misleading and/or not real. What a snake. I would pay extra money NOT to give them service. Go elsewhere guys.
They're only offer was MORE than the original price I have been given by another dealership . They just chose to waste my time.
Just to let everyone know, I just bought a Jeep Wrangler but at a reputable dealership. I am very pleased!

Firstly, I must say that since I bought my first car in 1977, I have purchased approximately 40 vehicles from dealerships and some through private deals, but none of my purchasing experiences came close to the pleasant negotiating experience I had with Downsview Chrysler and the very nice people I dealt with. From the minute I walked in the door, I was treated with great respect and they gave me the immediate feeling that they valued my interest and business. The Chrysler Rep I spoke to assigned me to a sales person, Gulia, and she proceeded to ascertain what type of vehicle I wanted, and presented all my options available. Between her and the sales manager Eli Tamam, we finally arrived at a price and payment for the Grand Caravan I wanted. I actually had a lot of "fun" going through the process with them and would recommend this dealership to everyone looking for a new, or pre-owned , vehicle. They are a large and progressive Toronto dealership and they want to give customers a good buying experience, and of course sell them a vehicle which suits their needs. Unlike the car dealers in my home town, Downsview Chrysler made sure I got a good price on my new vehicle, a good trade value for my used van, and a fair and reasonable interest rate for my financing, which was dealt with by financial services rep Leslie Dagatan, another excellent person. . I highly recommend this dealer, and of couse Gulia Ovezova, who patiently dealt with each request I made during the negotiation. These people are amazing.
Having come to this dealer with my used vehicle (2015) and experiencing a middliing level of service. Being told there was a serious problem (when there actually wasn't).
But that's what you do your homework for.
Sometimes investigating the issue prevents anger.
Thus far the level of service has been ok. Not great but ok.

Got my " dream car" from Downsview Chrysler November 2013!
That's when my nightmare started. A brand new Jeep Grand Cherokee 2014. A brand new car full of problems. And when I took it up with the Big guy (not the owner, but the one below him), I was told that it's now between Chrysler Canada and I and they had nothing else to do with this deal!!!!!!! I couldn't belive my ears.
After that I had to visit their service department over 6 times, not including the recalls from Chrystal.
We are talking about a brand new Jeep Grand Cherokee 2014!!!
Long story short: since I've changed dealerships, and even though I have to drive farther, the service I've received has been great BUT I'm still having issues with my car.
I'll NEVER buy another car from these charlatans. And one other thing: when I confronted the salesperson a month after my purchase, he didn't remember me!!! And the sales manager upon noticing me in the dealership, looked totally the other way !!!...
So BEWARE: buy your vegetables and fruits here but not your automobile!

My dad, a Sr. citizen, took his 2013 Chrysler 200 in for servicing recently and they told him he needed a transmission flush. The car had 25k km on it and the manual says this servicing is not required until you reach 100k km.
After they ripped my dad off, a senior on a fixed income, I called the Dealership Manager. Despite the facts I presented to him, he actually defended his service manager's actions and suggested my dad call me to verify the work every time he takes his car in for servicing. This is probably because he was too lazy to manage and take responsibility for his own employee's shady business actions.
I opened a complaint with Chrysler Canada, but they claim to have no control over their dealers and are happy to turn a blind eye to steeling from the elderly.
Do yourself a favor and buy a Honda.

I bought a black 300 a month ago and was told there was some warranty issues on the head lights from the last owner and that was all the was wrong with the car. I thought that was strange but it was taken care of. When I went to pick up my used 300 from the lot and filled out the paperwork, the finance person made me aware that there was a claim on the car but didn't give any details. Being the salesman, Gad, telling me about the headlights, i assumed that was it. Rather expensive but taken care of none the less. So I proceeded to complete the transaction. It wasn't until i got a chance to wash the car a couple of weeks later that I had noticed the the whole car had been painted and I believe that the rear bumper had been replaced. My mistake for not asking for the car report up front but thanks GAD for not telling me all the details and misdirecting me on the front headlights. This left me very very angry in the used dealership and I also felt that all the sales people knew about the issue but me. Not the way to sell cars guys. So i will try to inform others on my experience on your dealership. If you had told the truth, i may or may not have walked away but would have at lest trusted you. You'r crooks! You've just cheapened the "car salesman" name once again. I still love my car but deep down inside know i was screwed over.
So much for trust!!! EH Gad!

Took my car in for its first oil change and it took them an hour and a half! I saw my car pulled out when it was finished and they still made me wait another half hour to pick it up.
My old car was recently involved in an accident and written off by the insurance co. I was faced with the dreaded task of having to buy a new car after about 8 years. After having shopped around to a few different brands including Honda, Kia and Mitsubishi and few different Chrysler dealerships, I'm very happy in my decision to purchase at Downsview Chrysler. I was treated with the upmost courtesy and professionalism from the beginning which I can't say was the case at the other places I had visited. I didn't feel rushed or pressured and I felt like I got the most possible car for my money with the Jeep Patriot I bought. I will definitely be recommending this store to family and friends when they're in the market for another car.
The staff is friendly. That is the reason for the 1/2 a star. However, my vehicle was brought in because it was showing signs of the recall issue. They replaced the recall issue, which took them 2 weeks to diagnose. Than the part was delivered, and they installed it. They "discovered" that the issue was not in fact the recall issue, and that they needed to replace the TIPM (Totally Integrated Power Module), at a sum of $1500+. This took another 2 weeks. They released the vehicle to me, and told me it was test driven. I get my vehicle, and it breaks down as I am trying to get home. Almost broke down on the 400, which jeopardized my life. I have my vehicle towed home, and called them the next day. They, had my vehicle picked up and brought back to their shop. They tell me, that it is a wiring issue. At this point, they finally put me in a "loaner". The "Investigate" the wiring issue, only to find, 2 weeks later, that it wasn't a wiring issue at all, that it was an alternator. When querried why wasnt the alternator checked first? I was not really provided an answer. At the end of the day, they are charging me 1100+ to replace a bloody alternator... a rebuilt alternator at that!!!! In total, they screwed me for $2600.00 and took them 2.5 months of being without my vehicle, and almost a life threatening situation on the highway. I spoke to Chrysler head office, and relayed the level of incompetency that has been displayed by this particular dealership, but to no avail. At the end of the day, I will only go back to a chrysler dealership if I have to. (Recalls) otherwise, I have been screwed too many times by this place. Seriously.... 1100 for a used alternator??? come on!!!
I really wanted to purchase a jeep cherokee from this dealer. I noticed the fees of $399 registration along with $699 administration and $199 PDI. I've purchase many cars in the past and never saw these fees exceed $500 and this dealer would not reduce the fees. Most dealers upon negotiating a fair deal for both parties will reduce or even waive the admin fee or whatever the respective dealer refers to it as. Most brands have the PDI included in the freight but not Jeep. Anyhow, I was getting offers of $7000 approx for my trade in. They insulted me with $4000 essentially telling me to take my business elsewhere. So I did and I bought a CRV. The sales rep Jim G. Kept telling me in the process that he would get the fees taken care of only telling me this to get me back in the dealership. I asked before driving 30 min back in and he said it was resolved and nit to worry. Only, it wasn't resolved and he wasted a lot of my time. I had great service start to finish at Meadowvale Honda in Mississauga where I purchased my CRV from. So tired of the garbage from Jeep I went to trusted ol' Honda
I have a Jeep Cherokee which I have purchased from Downsview Chrysler. I have had nothing but problems with this vehicle. The car suddenly goes crazy and the rpm's will jump up on its own. When you start the vehicle with the autostart function, the car makes a terrible sound and wakes up the whole neighbourhood. The last problem that I had, is the vehicle shut down on the highway. I had to tow the vehicle to the service department- they did not find the problem, but they said that they changed the starter to solve the problem. They think people are stupid and to compensate for this warranty work, they claimed there was a nail in the tire they changed under warranty. They informed me that i had to pay for the other tire in full- if i DO NOT, they threatened to void my warranty on the vehicle. They left me with no choice, and this aggressive tactic cost me a fortune. They have no clue what they are doing or how to service their cars. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION for service.
I recently purchased a vehicle from Downsview Chrysler late last year and my experience was amazing. I was assisted by Patrick Senior who helped me every step of the way. In my opinion he is one of the best car salesmen out. (I used to have a Ford and it was one heck of an experience). Anywho, he guided me through the entire process and he gave me calls every step of the way. He even offered to drop off my car for me because I was unable to get to the dealership on a particular. VERY HELPFUL and I recommend him and this dealership to any/everyone. Glad this is in Toronto@
I purchased a vehicle from this company's subsidiary (Downsview Kia) in 2008. In 2009 they closed the Kia dealership to expand the Dodge/Jeep/Chrysler used sales. Perfectly reasonable! However, they retained my information and cold called me a least once a month (some times twice in a day!!) on my cell phone to offer me "a special invitation, JUST for you!" for some or other sales nonsense. At first, I just ignored it, although it was using up my paid for air time. Then, I called them and asked to remove me from their call list. They were very polite, and said they would. They didn't. I called again, they apologized and said they would remove me. I continued to get calls. I had the Kia for 5 years, and have since sold it. I am still getting calls. I finally wrote on their feedback form on 27 Sept 2013 that I was sick of it and would have them charged with harassing me (sadly, not an offence in Canada unless you fear for your life). I got a personal call from the Vice president of the dealership (Carlos Batista) on 28 Sept 2013 apologizing profusely and assuring me that I would be removed from every one of their lists. January 7, I got another of their automated calls. To be honest, I don't even know what to say. It is ridiculous. 5 years of unsolicited harassment and from different numbers so you can't even block them! If this is how they treat someone that they honestly (and foolishly) think could be a possible client, how do you think they will treat you once you have signed on the line or handed over a cheque? Good luck to you!
I recently purchased a 2013 Chrysler 200S. I'm loving my vehicle, all thanks to the people who made this buying experience stress free. Domenic was my salesman, he had great knowledge of the vehicle and was able to answer any questions I had and was very patient. Robin was another person I dealt with, very personable, and very professional - a real asset to the company. Totally satisfied with the service and the car.
Thank you.
Thank you.

I just recently bought a 2013 Fiat from Downsview Chrysler and had the absolute best car shopping experience ever. As an individual who has dealt with more than my fair share of dealerships, I can honestly say that this crew blew me away on customer satisfaction! The salesman I had was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to consult in. The finance department made the purchasing process a breeze and the general atmosphere when entering the dealership confirmed my want to do business with them.
Fantastic people, friendly faces, and a dealership worth checking out!

I have read the preceding reviews and quite frankly felt
obligated to post this. I have been a loyal customer of
Downsview Chrysler for over 40 years. My friends and family
also shop here. They have better prices, nicer staff and
great facilities. I have heard that other stores in competition
have sales managers that write phony reviews in hopes of
bringing more customers to their store and these reviews sound
like that...phony. I will continue to buy my automotive products from Downsview if for no other reason..THEY SAVE ME
MONEY.

I am in absolute disgust of the service this dealership provides. I recently purchased an SUV (hasn't even been a year) and I am ready to sue this dealership and contact the media. They are not at all informative when it comes to guiding you into making the right purchase. The staff are inconsistent when answering a question.
PURE GRIEF. I left my vehicle to get serviced. They wanted me to rent my own vehicle they couldnt even provide a complimentary car like most dealerships due. I had to leave my vehicle overnight to have a specialist look at it. MY CAR GOT BROKEN INTO!!!!!!!!!!! THEY STOLE MY SOFT TOP WINDOWS FROM MY JEEP. MY CAR HAD WATER DAMAGE. I called the police, I called my insurance. THEY DID NOT WANT TO PAY FOR THE DAMAGES WHEN IT WAS IN THEIR CARE. They had my keys they parked my vehicle. They didn't fix the water damaged areas. Ive had over 6 recalls. My carpets need to be replaced. NOW my light that detects if the air circulation in the vehicle is working wont turn on. I DONT WANT THIS VEHICLE AT ALLLLLL. People do not buy anything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
