On line and signage said they opened at 9:00.... 9:30 manager opens the door.
Store is messy and does not look like the new Mobil 1 Lube stores I have used previously (ie Langley, BC)
I show him my research on which Mobil 1 oil I have chosen for my 91 Lincoln 118,000KM (Mobil 1 super 2000) but he talks me out of that one and suggests a non-high mileage blend but does not tell me that he does not actually have the Mobil 1 2000 oil in stock and starts to put in some generic non-Mobile 1 oil. I just drove about 25 KM because I like and wanted Mobil 1 oil products and he tells me at that point that all the Mobil 1 2000 containers I am pointing at are empty because the bums break in and steal the oil! They really were empty.....
I brought my own factory filter and there is no discount for doing that, first time I got that response.
So, wrong oil in my car and he refuses to take it out and even if he did, he does not even stock all the Mobil 1 products anyway.
So I ask if he can give me a deal as I want to get it changed soon, after a minor discount he starts asking if I should put notes on my file the next time.......for next time.......ya right.
Wondering about Mobil 1 now.... requirements must be pretty low if these guys are allowed to display that name.

Just purchased a "new" used Honda Civic Coupe and had Ryan and staff evaluate, replace & upgrade all fluids. Fast, friendly, articulate and efficient service - I have no problem giving this shop my highest recommendation. "Senior" friendly! I will be back.

Very fast, efficient and friendly service. I came in for an oil change from Ryan. He took a look at my engine and informed me I could use an engine flush, Not only did he hook up a very good deal, he also threw in some antirust for the engine. Overall, I got way more done then I had planned for. Deffinently will be visiting mobil1 lube express regularly!!

I go for my lube/oil service to this Burnaby location. The staff are always friendly. The service is fast and the prices are affordable! Highly recommended!

Really friendly customer service. I pulled up because my oil cap was stripped and therefore I couldn't put oil into my car even though it was low. I had been back to the place (Canadian Tire) that did my oil change initially and therefore were the last people to touch the oil cap. When I went there to get it fixed they wouldn't even look at it and I was treated very rudely. But when I went to Pennzoil someone immediately came out to help me, looked at it, explained what had happened, fixed it for me and did it free of charge. The difference in customer service was like night and day, after my horrible experience at Canadian tire (Bentall street, Vancouver location) I'll be choosing this place.

I used to come here all the time.. Service was decent, under new ownership, guys sold me stuff i didnt need, i wouldnt be surprised either if oil was never really changed. They claim my drain bolt was damaged, they fixed it with a plastic plug that 10 minutes after I left, my company vehicle broke down.. all the oil had leaked out causing damage to engine. I would stay away. Management are refusing to take responsibility.

They are a very honest business and a place i can trust with my car they tell me straight up what the problem is with my car they don't hide anything unlike places like mr lube i went there got crappy service and they practicaly did daylight robbery to me saying i needed things fixed which didnt need to be.

This shop was good before, but then these guys started working there who were stealing from the owner. All of you people who paid cash for oil changes with no receipt are just as guilty of theft as those former employees. There is new staff there now who are honest, hard working and always perform any and all services that are recommended. They do not force you to buy anything, they only recommend and then leave it up to you to decide if you want the service. And for all the people who try to say that the oil or other fluid was still dirty when you left, try actually changing your fluids BEFORE they are totally burnt out and maybe they will actually come clean. Seriously, if you only change your oil every 10K or 20K and never maintain any of your systems, how can you expect the fluids to be perfectly clean after a service? You can never get 100% fluid exchange and the dirtier it is before hand the harder it is to get clean.

the work they do at the shop is good .sometimes pricey,but for costly repaires the mechanic does work for cash upfront,my brakes work fine and i saved a ton of cash! thanks cheryl

My name is Mike, i'm a red seal Machinist, marathon runner, downhill mountain biker, rock climber. GTL is something i've learned off MTV and love it lol. I drive a Chevy Lumina 97 3.1L V6 sedan with Yakima racks. I've been a customer since 2005 and have always been pleased with their fast, friendly, knowledgeable service. They don't push the usual sales pitch saying "Hey Buddy, your engine has...leaks. You need this cheap 1.5 litre bottle of shite to fix it". They do suggest, recommend certain fluid changes, parts to be replaced and I am quite glad that they do! They back up their reasons why with clear, quick, years of experience and knowledge. If I decide not to listen because I'm in a cheap mood, ram some poor old lady from behind cause my brakes were shot. It's my own damn fault and she'll have to no choice but to strangle me with her frail old hands while agitating my head and most likely screaming "Is there anything in that big melon of yours, why didn't you fix your brakes sonny boy?!!!!!" in court!

If you're looking for a vehicle service shop you can trust and count on. I would strongly recommend Pennzoil just down Edmonds on Canada Way. Ask for Rick, he's awesome. Peace
