Mr Lube, North Vancouver Reviews (6)
Quick easy efficient
An amazing customer service helped me do my break Service and did my oil change APKAR and the manager SABHA very good people well knowing about their job very highly recommended their service
DO NOT USE THIS DISHONEST shop!
I was down the road at a competitors and there was a wait so I called Mr Lube and asked them how much for an oil change. I specifically told them the make, model and year and asked TWICE if the price quoted was "all-in". The Manager, Saba, quoted me $54.99. I also had a coupon for $10 so and I confirmed with the Manager that he would accept it.
I pulled in 2 minutes later, the lacklustre mechanic who greeted me quoted me over $110! After some discussion he lowered it to $68 using regular oil and not synthetic. Not $54. The Manager Saba came over and I asked him what happened to the all in price of $54 he quoted me. He then had the gall to tell me that $54 is only for the oil change and did not include the filter! So much for an all-in price quote. He then proceeded to argue with me and give me very poor attitude. After some discussion and me sticking to my guns he lowered the price to the one he quoted but did so reluctantly.
Saba, the Manager deliberately lied to me in order to get me to come to his shop.
When I was given the bill it showed they did not do the courtesy checks usually done such as look at your serpentine belt, tire inflation etc. I had to demand that they do these things that are usually part of the oil change.
Dishonest practices and based on the other poor reviews I strongly suggest you STEER CLEAR of this place.

Mr. Minhas, I had my car serviced yesterday at your location, and I can't let this go unsaid. I was delighted to see DEAN back and looking well. He is a huge assest to your shop. He is congenial, helpful and I am glad he is well enough to be back at work.
Thanks, Maxine
Thanks, Maxine
Great for oil change, NOT for anything else, such as transmission oil change,etc. A few bad experiences, confirmed by my mechanic (on North Shore) - he get lots of clients after Mr. Lube's work ;-}

Additional business details
Until the mid-seventies, most oil changes were still being done by service stations and car dealerships. But entrepreneur Cliff Giese of Edmonton, Alberta sensed an opportunity.
Cliff invented the 'drive-thru' quick oil change concept and in 1976 opened the first Mr. Lube store in Edmonton. Never before had an oil change and lube been so fast, convenient and affordable. By 1984, Mr. Lube had 45 stores across Canada and had initiated its Canadian Franchise Program.
NOW we have 88 stores across Canada providing a full range of vital fluid services and other preventative vehicle maintenance. We're the country's leader in the industry - and still growing.
