Great Canadian Oil Change

Went there for a quick oil change before I left for work in Alberta . While sitting in my truck (it appeared) they were changing and filling with oil as I could see under my trucks open hood that there was a funnel and a black 4 L jug in the engine compartment.
Thought I was going to get Valvoline that comes in a white jug and assumed since I didn’t specify, they were putting in a cheaper grade. They went through the process of having me start the engine and then showing me the dipstick with the correct fluid level. I paid the $69 and left.

Later in the day, not feeling confident about what they had put in my engine I picked up a jug of Pennzoil 5W-30. The next day I began to drain the oil that they supposedly changed.
To my surprise, as soon as I pulled the plug, dark used oil came out. It became obvious that they had never even drained or changed the oil. They only put on a show so it would appear that they changed the oil.

So in hind sight, I can certainly say that they intentionally deceived me and gave the appearance of performing an oil change, going so far as to put clean oil on my dipstick.
If I was not away and working out of the province for the next two months I would be perusing fraud charges with the police.

I did email Great Canadian Oil Change head office about this but after five days they have not responded .
Please do not support this business. Go to Mr Lube or one of the other quick lube locations.

They do not offer the best price, but remain on cheaper side.
Their service is fast and pleasant, and I will be going there again.
