i called ahead for a specific cabin air filter. then picked it up 10 minutes later. the filter was $30, Mercedes wanted $70!
Never seen such a bunch of lazy@#%&...I'm the only one in line.. And the lazy assclowns make me wait while the stand and talk about.. Nothing.. Wow when I did get to the counter, they knew nothing about finding my part.. They couldn't be bothered. I could rebuild my car from tin cans before they would answer the phone as well.. They put you on hold and there is no one else there.. Wow..lazy.lazy..lazy..and not brain smart!
Just tried to find a part put me on hold for 15 min. Hang up. Recall after 5 min. Again on hold for 30 min. Hang up again.
I am writing this email to express how disgusted I am with PartSouce on Circle Drive in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
I've had lots of issues with those guys on circle drive but yesterday (november 10, 2014) it was absolutely ridiculous.
At 8am I went to Canadian Tire on Preston Drive to rent tools but they didn't have a ball joint press and Jared (Canadian Tire's store manager) called PartSource on circle, spoke to a person there and he told me I could drive there to pick up the tool. I arrived at the PartSource store and asked for the ball joint press and the girl who helped me said "we don't rent tools anymore". I explained to her what Jared told me and she said "I'm sorry this is happening but there's nothing I can do for you". I asked to talk to a manager and she said one manager was in the office and the other was placing an order in the computer so I would have to wait.
I walked to the end of the counter and Wade was sitting on a chair, in front of a computer. I stood there looking at him and he looked at me and told me I would have to wait because he was placing an order. I just stood there staring at him and asked "how long will it take?" and his answer was "when I finish my order". I stood there staring at him and he finally said "is it a quick question?". I didn't move... I just stood there and he finally stood up and came to talk to me. I explained to him what had happened and he said "that's true, we don't rent tools." I called Canadian Tire and asked to speak to Jared (the store manager). I put him on speaker phone and explained to him what was happening at PartSource.
All of a sudden Wade said "did you mention 'ball joint tool'?", we do rent ball joint tools. I explained to him that the girl who helped me said "we do not rent tools". A ball joint press is a tool. If you stated "we do not rent tools", why should I ask "what about a ball joint tool?". Wade continued to push the idea that I was at fault because I never asked for a ball joint tool - which was the FIRST thing I said to the girl who helped me. After about 10 minutes of putting pressure on Wade and getting on the phone with Jared, I was finally able to rent the ball joint press.
In the afternoon I went back to PartSource on 8th street to buy outer tie rods and the guy said the store on circle drive had 6 in stock so I went back there to buy them. The young man who helped me said the computer was showing they had 6 but they were nowhere to be found. A young woman showed up and said "sometimes it says 6 on the computer but that means the parts were ordered but they are not in the store" which - to me - was a convincing argument. I left that store and drove to the Canadian Tire on Confederation Drive.
When I got to the Confed Canadian Tire, Gary, the man who helped me, said there were no outer tie rods in that store, but they could order them from PartSource on Circle Drive and the parts would arrive in about 30 minutes. I placed the order and - YES - the outer tie rods arrived in less than 1 hour.
I got the parts and drove back to the store on circle drive to show Wade the parts and ask him what his opinion was on what had happened. I asked him "what do you think of this?" and he said "it's lack of looking". Correct... "lack of looking" is the explanation he gave me.
Those individuals who work at PartSource on Circle Drive are the most incompetent crew I have ever seen. I have lived in 3 countries so far and have been fixing my own cars for 19 years... I have NEVER seen so much stupidity under a single roof.
I hope all of you who work for PartSource are proud of yourselves because I am definitely disgusted.
